Dr. Sanjay G Kavathia, MD

This doctor had a screaming match with my mother five years ago when she went to the hospital for a respiratory infection. He told her she should stay home and not bother him or go to the hospital if she’s not going to stop smoking. What kind of doctor engages in verbal fights with nearly-80 year olds in hospital hallways?? Horrible bedside manner. Saw my aunt (her sister)later in the grocery store and when she asked about my mother he told her my mother was dying. Thats odd, bc she’s still alive in 2025, five years later. He’s an a—hole.

I've been going to Dr Kavathia since 2015 (I hadn't been to see a doctor since 2009) and love him. I have had weight issues all my life and he is the only PCP I have seen willing to test my thyroid and I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. He listens to my concerns instead of ignoring them. He is personable and has a great bedside manner.

I could go on all day long about Dr. Kavathia. My husband and I have been seeing him for a couple of years now. My husband is not well. Since Dr. Kavathia has taken over my husband's care, his health has been a lot better. Dr. Kavathia is very thorough. He has no problem referring us to a specialist and working with them directly regarding our care. I never have to wait longer than a few minutes to see him. I always get an appointment the same day if I request it, or I am sick. He always calls back as soon as he gets test results, and he also has a wonderful medical portal with all your records too, that I am still learning about. Dr. Kavathia will call back on weekends at midnight, and has. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Kavathia. He is my family's hero. If you are his patient, you are in great hands!!!!! Thank you Dr. Kavathia!!!! You truly are a wonderful Doctor who cares. Try finding that somewhere else, it will not be easy. Dr. K always saves the… day!!!!!!

So nice to have a Dr. with common sense in this day and age of sue for any reason! Thank you Dr. Kavathia, you are the voice of reason for loved ones dealing with end of life loved ones.

He is a great doctor.I don't mind goingto the doctor since he has been my doctor.Hes the greatest and his staff is also great.Thank for all your caring and help make me feel better.I wish I met him years ago.I would have cared about my health if I had him as a doctor.I haven't had a good doctor like him since 1968.There are not that many good doctors who really care about their patients and make you want to come back for your next.Thanks again for being such a great doctor.Im so proud of him being my Dr Im telling my name Your very happy patient JoAnn Masee

Office staff are great but the doctor does not seem to keep good records and has poor follow up.

I have been taking my Mother to visit Dr. Kavathia for close to 4 years, he is an absolutely wonderful doctor. I was lucky to have met him through a local Assisted Living facility which he was associated with at the time. My Mom adores him, he never misses a chance to make her feel that she is being listened to and understood, he truly makes the extra effort it takes to let his patients know they are important to him, and it's sincere. Caring, compassionate, extremely knowledgable concerning a multitude of topics surrounding medical practice. I have never waited but a few minutes and we are always welcomed by they fantastic staff and ultimately by the Dr. himself with a smile. Dr. Kavathia cares deeply for his patients, his memory is in incredible, no worries that anything would possibly be overlooked, not with Dr. Kavathia, he is on his game all the time!! If you are looking for a new Doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Sanjay Kavathia wihtout any reservation, he is top notch and as I said… early exremely caring and interested in his patients well being. Viewing his patients with totality, he considers every aspect of the person and discusses all the issues at hand prior to giving a diagnosis, suggesting testing of any kind, or suggesting medications. What else can I say, Dr. Kavathia is simply the best.
