Dr. Sanjeev Vishwanath Joshi, MD

I'd give him minus 100 or more. Dont trust him. Talks terrible about patients and their families. Plus he doesn't take care of his patients. He pushes pills.

My experiences with Dr. Joshi, Internist, has been TERRIBE! He stands and gives a text book sermon on what he perceives as the diagnosis, writes scripts, orders, etc. (definitely bringing in the bucks for Advocate and no, does not give the allotted 15 minutes to be seen) and then he leaves the room under pretense of another matter. You are waiting for him to come back and the assistance comes in with your script or to advised of next time to see him. I actually cried once in the exam room because of his blatant disrespect to me as a patient! He doesn't keep notes, at least that is what I concluded when I am waiting for a referral. Dr. Joshi gave me a referral last year for same condition and this guy was a WHACK! Advised me to sleep on a satin pillow case his wife had the same problem (another Advocate physician). I used the patient portal to addressed need of my recent referral several times, same condition - no referral approved via the portal. A visit was necessary. That visit… resulted in several x-rays, no referral and Dr. Joshi's infamous disappearing act! The clinic racked up in-person visit and x-ray charges to insurance company. Me - A CO-PAY, LOST OF TIME, TERRIBLE HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT, REALIZING THE PROFESSIONALISM AND CARE OF THIS DOCTOR HAD GONE TO WASTE! When I saw him after being summoned, he did not see the growth he said, writing in patient portal that I was delusional. Lastly, sending a picture to patient portal of the very apparent growth, he responded in portal, yes, you need to see an ENT - no referral. WHO'S DELUSIONAL?

Wonderful compassionate doctor, always takes the time to explain your illness in terms you can understand. I would give him 10 stars if I could!

Dr. Sanjeev Joshi has a excellent understanding of my medical promblems. I had cluster headaches for years , one visit to Dr.Joshi , the promblem was solved. I have not had a headache in 20yrs

I was a long time patient of Dr. Joshi's for many years and only left when I married and moved away. It's been probably 15 years but he is still one of the most thorough, caring and kind doctors I have ever met! When I moved back near Chicago Heights, I was thrilled to see he was still practicing but really debated about going back to him because he was w/Franciscan Hospitals (St. James) and I did not care for that hospital at all! I recently heard that he's moved to Advocate in Lockport and I'd highly recommend him to anyone near there! He's really good!

This doctor is a one of a kind. He cares about your total welfare, he is compassionate and has excellent bedside manners.

Dr. Joshi is a very rare kind of doctor. He truly cares about his patients. He gives you all the time necessary and explains things so everything is easy to understand. He is friendly, extremely competent and a true professional. He is the best doctor with whom I have ever had a doctor/patient relationship.
