Dr. Santiago Restrepo, MD

I am still in shock at the treatment from this doctor today. I will pray God has mercy on him if any other patient leaves feeling they way I did and being treated the way he treated me today! It should be against medical board ethics to treat patients so rude, inhumane, and unethical! Don't ask a question or question your care, he will stop seeing you. His office staff are generally friendly.

I'm sad to see negative reviews about Dr. Restrepo, he is very blunt and to the point but he does listen to patient concerns and tries to figure out what's going on. I told him that I didn't take preventive medicine prescribed to me for migraines in the past bc I wasn't okay with the side effects, he immediately prescribed me one that had little to no side effects, and his office gave me a coupon for the preventive and for another medication to take as needed if I still got migraines. They honestly have made a huge impact on my life, as I only get one migraine per month as opposed to 3 a week. I also have TBI from a head injury, he ordered an MRI for me to get done ASAP before the new year since I had met my deductible and it would be cheaper than waiting until the new year, and had me do several blood tests to ensure my migraines weren't seizures or related to the TBI. He's been accommodating to all of my fears, and he's answered all of my questions whether they were ridiculous or… not, and as someone with irrational fears from anxiety some of them were very ridiculous, bless his heart.

Was involved in a severe accident while in another State. After returning I went to see my General Practitioner and was referred to Dr. Restrepo. Ordered an MRI that lasted just shy of two hours. The area where the most pain was is the exact same area I had to lay my head. I had been taking steroids, ibuprofen 800 mg, and tylenol IV for three weeks at this time. On my follow up trip Dr. Restrepo did his tests and wanted to prescribe a medicine I had written down that I was allergic to and at that time he was obviously upset. He then made the statement that, "you know, 80 % of people whom still have pain after an accident have an attorney". That was the icing on the cake. What-A-Joke. Makes me wonder who is patients were prior. Anyways, after multiple treatments for severe concussion and after getting a simple x-done, 2 minutes - 3 views, I was easily noticeable, to someone that wasn't even a doctor, that my C1 and C2 were moving quite extensively. Nineteen months later they still move… which induces quite a bit of severe symptoms. Totally misdiagnosed just because I did not want to take tramadol and this guy thought I wanted medications. No, I wanted healing and that's why I tell everyone not to go see him.

Not only extremely helpful with diagnosing and treating, but makes you feel like he is truly concerned and cares about you as a patient. VERY GOOD doctor!!!

This doctor's bedside manner is rude and egotistical. A patient with obvious symptoms that have caused hospitalization and obvious deterioration (noted by his general physician!) was brushed off as it being "all in his head." Patient was dismissed with a script for a med that hasn't worked in the past, without other options. If you are looking for a caring, thorough doctor--this guy ISN'T what you are seeking.

I have been going to see Dr. Restrepo for almost 6 years now for migraines and related issues. As far as my wife is concerned, he saved my life. He has kept my symptoms under control and is always caring about my health and issues.

Dr. Restrepo really cares about his patients. And, he is very knowledgable. I am so glad I was referred to him.
