An excellent Dr. She makes you feel important. Listens to all your questions and concerns and gives answers in a way that are easily understood. Very hands on and compassionate.

I had a surgery scheduled with Dr. Longmire Cook, but I will be seeking another doctor. This is not an emergency surgery, so I called the office to ask about my options and the assistant, Anne, was so rude that i decided I will cancel my surgery and seek another doctor. Anne dismisses my questions and even yelled at some point during the convo. Imagine calling a doctor’s office before surgery and the representative being disturbed by your questions and then YELLING at you. At that moment I decided I could not use this office. I’m tired of being abused by health care office reps just because they think you have no other option. The doctor was a nice person, but I refuse to pay money to be treated poorly by staff.

Saw Dr Longmire-Cook because of an unexpected cancer piggybacked on a non-cancerous ductile paploma. She was thorough and wonderful in her explanations. Her portion of the surgery was beautiful with minimal scarring. Her follow up is meticulous and her selected referrals to plastic surgery and oncology were equally as good. Her nursing staff can be terse, but I know she can be a pitbull for patient advocacy to insurances so I can appreciate that. LOVE THIS OFFICE!

She's simply the best.

This doctor is protective of my privacy, which I appreciate so much. She always makes sure I'm not exposed in any way, any more that I need to be. She has a gentle touch, and warns me before anything painful or uncomfortable is going to happen. She has a positive attitude and caring spirit. She is also direct at times, which can hurt, but she is truthful and gives it to me straight. The waiting room is comfortable, quiet, and calm. The only negatives are that she seems a bit rushed, and her nurse treats me like a drug addict because I told her (voluntarily) about an experience I had years ago; I thought my body was tolerant to pain medicine. I said that, because I wanted the doctor to know that I don't want to ever be given a script with a large quantity of pain tabs or refills. I was just being honest. My chart was marked and staff seemed to treat me "different", which was wrong and not necessary.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Sarah Longmire-Cook! She was very nice and treated me with warmth and compassion. She took all the time I needed, to explain my options, and possible results for each. She was right on with my diagnosis and from the very beginning told me what my outcome should be. I received a personal phone call from her with the results of both my biopsy and post-op pathology report. I felt comfortable and well cared for!!

Dr. Longmire Cook is one of the best doctors I've ever been through. She is thorough in assessment, diagnosis and explaination. She has a wonderful bedside manner and she made me feel very comfortable. She never rushed through an appointment with me and always took the time to answer any questions that I had. I do NOT like going to the doctor - but she made me feel very important on every visit. She is by far, hands down the BEST doctor I've ever had. She called me on Saturdays at home to personally deliver my diagnosis. She sent me flowers and a gift after my surgery. I felt like I had someone going into this with me. She looked at me as a whole perosn and not just a disease. I loved this doctor
