Dr. Saramma George, MD

Dr. George is an excellent physician. I have had occasion to seek treatment a number of times with her. I have consistently found that she is caring, conscientious, and she really listens to me. Better still, she answers all my questions and explains things to me in a way that I, a layperson, can understand. I recommend Dr. George without reservation.

I love Dr. George. She listens and works with the patient to insure all issues are addressed. She is very pro-active which is very important to me. Her staff is friendly and and helpful.

As a new patient, I just did not hit it off with her. She treated me like an elderly nursing home patient instead of an active 60 year old. She was not good a answering lifestyle questions about exercise, vitamins, sexual disease etc. She will only give 6months of medications even when you have been on the meds long term. When I asked for the next appointment to be with the other doctor in the office, the office refused. Now I not only have to go to a new doctor, but a new office too. If you are younger then 90 avoid this doctor.

Finally I have a great Dr. that has genuine concern and care for her patients as individuals and real concern for their health not just for one visit but long term. She is truly amazing. She takes the time to review not only your current health concern, your past health status and your long term health.

I recently saw Dr. George in her office. Her reception staff greeted me quickly and I was escorted to an examination room without much waiting. The nurse who took my vitals, and later performed an EKG was very professional. Dr. George spent the right amount of time discussing the medical issue with me to make sure she understood my condition. She performed a thorough examination and referred me to specialists, after discussing the reasons why she wanted me examined by the specialists. I felt comfortable with her treatment plan. I highly recommend Dr. George to anyone looking for a caring thourough physician.

The only reason I put neutral in follow=up by doctor was because I haven't received the results from my lab work that was requested, or any change to my thyroid meds.

Dr. George is highly competent in terms of applying her skills and experience, but also in he view of the patient a whole person, rather than a set of symptoms.
