Dr. Satik Amirbekian, MD

My appointment with Dr. Satik Amerbikian was scheduled for 3:30 PM, but I wasn’t seen until three hours later, and the entire visit lasted until 8:00 PM. The process involved extended waiting periods both in the front area and again after being moved to the back. During the consultation, Dr. Amerbikian focused extensively on medical history from over a decade ago, speaking verbatim into a microphone. Attempts to correct inaccuracies were met with irritation, and I was instructed not to interrupt. Despite presenting current symptoms and requesting specific tests, these were dismissed, leading to missed diagnoses. Additionally, she tended to assert symptoms I did not have and was argumentative when I disagreed. The overall demeanor was unkind, making the experience very uncomfortable. The insistence on frequent appointments every three months adds to the apprehension, knowing each visit could extend over five hours. Also false diagnosis in your chart as she confuses you with other… patients that you can not remove or takes a long time to correct. A physical or follow up with a physician should not be this difficult

I admit sometimes there is a wait but good things are worth waiting for. The reason for time spent is the care she gives. I was a mess when I came to see the Doc. I believe the Doc saved my life. Now, I am healthy and happy. Dr. Amirbekian will always be my Doc. Gary A Swinton

First, I waited 5 hours, I repeat, 5 hours to see her. Many waiting left. When I got in, she did not review the referrals she had sent me to and yelled at me for not going. I had been to 4 of the 5 she gave me. She didn't read her notes until I squeezed it in through her yelling that I had been to all of them but one. And I had a difficult time understanding what she was saying because of the way she phrases sentences.

She takes her time with each patient. But, sometimes, you can wait over 2 hours and be in there for over 3 hours. 3 HOURS! That's unheard of in this day and age. People don't have time to wait 3 hours-especially when you have someone dropping you off, thinking it's a minor appointment. Just putting it out there.

I love her so much because she spent her time explaining in details symptoms and mostly ask question like how and when problem start to diagnose me properly which I agree and I don't mind the waiting she is excellent
