Dr. Scott Wayne Alpert, MD

You may or may not have a long wait to see him, but it is absolutely worth the wait. He is patient, kind, answers all of your questions and, most importantly, is an extraordinarily skilled surgeon.

Dr Alpert is an excellent physician. However, appointments bear no resemblance to the time you'll actually be seen. Today, we walked out of the waiting room after sitting there for an hour and a half.... to my wife and me, both of whom have been his patients, this is just plain rude. As I said, he's a great doctor, but overall I have to rate his practice (not him) as poor. So I balanced a poor set-up with a good doctor and compromised o "fair."

If you care about your health, see another doctor.

His office staff asks me what my insurance is (Medicare and AARP), then tells me every time I call, that they are "crazy busy, so call back tomorrow after 10 and we'll take down your information". When I call back, I am told the same thing again. This has happened 6-8 times over a period of a few years. He performed surgery on me almost 20 years ago and I was very pleased, but I guess they liked that insurance better?

Dr. Albert is the best doctor ever!! Although you wait forever to see him the wait is well worth it. There are not enough stars to rate him as a doctor... sooo happy we found him to treat my daughter 2x for an ALC repair!

Dr. Alpert is awesome, thorough and has a great bedside manner.

Did both of my knees at HSS. Didn't ever need any painkiller after recovery. Great bedside manner. Recovery exactly as he described.

To the person that wrote the last review, can you kindly review the doctor, all you did was complain complain complain, about the wait and what you paid and it sounds to me like in your ten mins that Dr Alpert correctly diagnosed you, had a good bedside manner and was kind, because I am sure if he was not you would have complained about that too. Dr Alpert is a Class A doctor and gentleman. I am sure you wait in line at Starbucks or Cheesecake factory and don't complain. Kudos to Dr. A!
