A small team of physician’s assistants and physical therapists will make your day if Dr. Anseth does your knee surgery. These are the people you will interact with the most and they will have the biggest impact on making your joint replacement a success.

First time I met with Dr. Anseth. My own doctor said my replacement will be complicated due to prior surgeries and he suggested I seek out an Ortho who had a Fellowship. Dr Anseth was informative, I didn't feel rushed or pressured to do the surgery right away. He suggested physio to strengthen the quads prior to scheduling the surgery which was helpful. I waited over 1/2 hour to see him, so that might be only reason I didn't give him 5 stars.

I had my knees replaced with one year between the two procedures. Along with a terrific outcome, Abbott Northwestern Hospital had a great protocol which at the time included acupuncture for those interested. I felt I was in the best hands and that he crafted my knees to be a perfect fit!
