Scott H. McClure MD is a Board Certified psychiatrist who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of adults and adolescents. His office is conveniently located in the Wells Fargo Tower in the heart of the downtown area. Ample public parking is available. He believes that proper treatment can only flow from accurate diagnosis. Therefore, the initial visit consists of a lengthy, detailed diagnostic interview, which occasionally may include family members and/or the evaluation of previous records, if indicated. He places an emphasis on understanding each person as a unique individual in the context of a complex and important life history. If medications are prescribed, the response is usually better when both the patient and the doctor feel that they have achieved a deeper level of understanding about the issues involved.
