My daughter (who is 5 almost 6) freaked out when he started using the scissors on her cast after being told by the other women present that she wasn't a fan of them. The demeanor change when she was very clearly scared was so prevalent that it made me nervous. I tried to be light hearted and addressed my daughter that she was being silly and to not be scared. The interaction lasted less than a minute and as soon as he was done he turned around got up and walked out without a word. The other woman had to of clearly felt the awkwardness and quickly escorted us out with a guide for the cast and that was it. I felt it was very unprofessional and left baffled at the interaction. Did my daughter overreact? Absolutely. I didn't even get a chance to apologize and correct the behavior as a mother before he walked out. Not sure if it was a bad day or what. I left unhappy and confused on how to handle this situation.
