Dr. Scott Ingber, MD

Horrible bedside manner, very condescending. Gave me a sigmoidoscopy with no anesthetic, very painful as I was already experiencing gastric issues. I would not recommend going anywhere near this physician. He simply doesn't care about his patients, their welfare, and comfort.

He listened to my symptoms and didn't flinch to schedule a colonoscopy. It was found I have colon cancer. Due to my age, it was rare that I would have such a condition and many Dr's could have dismissed it as 'normal'. Good person, great Dr.

I was an employee of this medical practice for close to 20 years. It was an extremely difficult and unprofessional place to work. I am not surprised that the simple task of releasing Dr. Ingbers records to my new doctors has been an ordeal....... Typical NSMG ineptness, God forbid you are in the midst of a medical emergency. Dr. Ingber was always more interested in the bottom line of his pratice then in the care of his patients.

Dr. Ingber is thoughtful, kind and smart physician that you want on your team. I have seen him multiple times and could not be happier with the care I received, his thoughtful diagnosis and recommendations for my care.

This doctor is horrible. He spitz when talking to you. You can't ask questions without him rolling his eyes at you. I watched him verbally assault his staff. The staff is wonderful beside the fact of them being treated that way

Very poor bedside manners.Seems like a below average MD who has the gift of the gab and backed up by similar guys from Mt sinai hospital.Going to see someone else

This is a doctor who is clearly "burned out" and has little regard for his patients. He may have at one time been a good doctor, but it seems that it is now time for him to hang it up. He gets annoyed at the drop of a hat, is always condescending and obviously believes his patients are morons, is far more involved with his computer notes than the actual patient, and is peevish and embarrassingly abrupt with his own office staff. He's just not a very nice person. At all! Also, doesn't like to be questioned and is entirely defensive when innocent (and appropriate) questions are posed. I switched out of his care for these - and other disturbing - reasons. There are too many other good, compassionate doctors to suffer through a patient/physician relationship with this individual.

A very negative expereince , I felt rushed and the Doctor's bedsisde manner was severely lacking, seemed almost arrogant to me. Will never return to this doctor

I swear by this doctor. Had about 8 routine procedures there. He is 5 stars in caring and skill.

I have seen Dr. Inger on a few occasions. While he is a pleasant and competent doctor, dealing with his staff in terms of scheduling is a NIGHTMARE. Scheduling an appointment requires at least 20-30 minutes on the phone and multiple staff who need to check with each other to find an appointment, which is usually months out as they seem to focus on volume and not patient care. Not indicative of other professionals within NSMG but also, not worth the aggravation.
