Dr. Scott Mitchell Sheflin, MD

Thorough but rude and condescending. Interrupts and asserts it's his way or the highway. Says that once you've seen him and he's prescribed for you that you must see him and only him. Also gets testy about sending medication to different pharmacies. This isn't 2005 Dr. Sheflin - everything is in a computer database that is accessible by all physicians and pharmacies. Doctor shopping isn't a thing anymore. His adherence to the old ways just makes things inconvenient. There are hundreds of doctors willing to meet and discuss prescriptions. There's really no reason to see Dr. Sheflin. He left a long and critical review of our meeting in the notes in my file (complete with multiple instances of caps lock to emphasize his dissatisfaction with my existence) which makes me seem like some kind of degenerate drug-seeker. I'd rather withdraw from MOUD treatment alone under a bridge than receive "assistance" from this guy. He's not nice. He's not empathetic.

He’s the worst doctor. Avoid him at all cost!!!!!

I usually never give reviews, but in this case I feel obligated to write one for the safety of my peers. In my 60 plus years I have never seen a medical “professional” without a single redeeming quality. If you gave me all day, I could not think of one. He is judgmental, hard-headed, temperamental, lacks empathy and is devoid of any empathy whatsoever. I believe Dr. Sheflin is a hard worker, but the stress of his job and/or personal life is obviously negatively affecting his ability to practice medicine responsibly.

Listened to my concerns as a patient and helped me out tremendously. I will definitely be seeing Dr. Sheflin for future doctor visit.
