Unfortunately, I had to have prostate removal surgery. Fortunately I had Dr. Tobis as my surgeon. Everything went great and I had been prepared for everything every step of the way by Dr. Tobis. Professional, courteous, and compassionate.

Went to him for kidney stones. I had the best care from him, his staff, the Cottage hospital. I will recommend him to others.

Met Dr Tobis in Cottage Hospital Emergency Room and just got lucky. Dr. Tobis spoke with me Prior to a procedure and afterwards spent a good deal of time with my family to fully explain my condition. My children and I have been consistently pleased with his care

Late last year, for the first time in my 70 years, I began experiencing urinary problems. These difficulties came on fast and furious. I asked friends for recommendations and looked at reviews on the internet. Based upon this search and a recommendation of a friend, I chose the established practice - Urology Specialists of Santa Barbara, and was lucky to be able to be seen by Dr. Tobis. Dr. Tobis gave me a very thorough exam and was able to prescribe medicine which alleviated my problem. I was very impressed with Dr. Tobis, his knowledge and ability to relate to my issues. The medical staff is the most friendly and efficient staff Iâ??ve ever dealt with in my life! I am now being followed by Dr. Tobis and plan to keep him as my urologist for the future. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Tobis worked with my severe condition, despite other debilitating health issues. He seems so young to be so experienced, but he was accurate on every call, and there were many because of my other health issues. He did a successful TURP surgery for me, and I'm on top of the world, rather than buying a casket. His staff are all jewels, as wonderful and caring as he is.

During a time when I was fearful of enduring the pain of a Kidney stone, or stones, and all the horrors I had heard, Dr. Tobis presented care and compassion. He took the time to really listen to my concerns and his skill and knowledge helped me through a very difficult time. If you are seeking an outstanding and genuine Urologist - you just found him.
