Dr. Scott Anthony Wenk, MD

Dr. Scott Wenk was very caring and gentle. I had a cracked tooth and was in pain, they were able to fit me in the same day that I called and was able to remove my tooth. The staff was very courteous, and efficient. I would highly recommend Dr. Wenk for any oral surgery needs.

For ten years I have been told by my primary dentist to have my wisdom teeth pulled, they never hurt so I didnt take their advice. A few weeks ago I had a terrible toothache, went to my dentist and was told again to get them pulled. I have a discount dental plan. I went for a consult at the oral surgeon in Debary that was covered and the price I was quoted made my tooth hurt more. I called Dr Wenks office for a second opinon. Of course they can not quote an exact price until you have a consult. The lady on the phone answered my questions politely. Dr Wenk examined me and my xrays and answered all my questions, advised me of my options, and went over any possible complications. His estimate was something i could wrap my head around. I scheduled the procedure with no anesthesia. I was so nervous. Dr Wenk was gentle and he did an amazing job. His office staff were all very kind and professional. Tatum (Dr Wenks assistant) made sure i was taken care of. If I know of anyone that needs an… oral surgeon I will gladly let them know I saw Dr Wenk and i highly recommend his expertise.

Avoid this guy...After the operation, he never bothered to give me a follow up call to see how I was doing. I was in extreme pain and after calling his office, he was not available and his backup did not make any effort to relieve the pain but told me to "give it more time". At the follow-up visit, he acted unconcerned...he needs to get more experience - - but not on me ever again!!! This is a good office, but pick someone other than him.

After I was injured, Dr. Wenk did a great job. I am a good as new!

Dr. Wenk did an excellent job with my facial surgery. He took the time to really explain what to expect. This is particularly important to me. Dr. Wenk was also diligent in his follow up to make sure that I was healing properly. I would definitely recommend Dr. Wenk.

Dr. Wenk is very professional and makes patients feel at ease. He has performed 4 surgical procedures on our family and each of them has produced super results. Some issues have occurred with nurse who schedules his appointments but other than that the staff provides notifications for all appointments and all procedures have been completed without issue.

I have had nothing but trouble from Dr. Wenk and his staff (with the exception of one assistant, Sandy). When I had 5 teeth extracted last week, he left something in one of the extraction sites and proceeded to pull it out AFTER I was awake and then stich up the wound - all with NO anesthesia or explaination of what he was doing. (As imaagined, this HURT!) My recovery was not going normally and I could not get the staff to give me a straight answer. I finally called my primary dentist and he was able to get some answers. Apparently, Dr. Wenk never got involved during the recovery debacle becasue when I went back for my follow up he had NO IDEA that the office staff had prescribed another medication to me. They did not give any real post-op instructions and the ones they did give were not complete (ex. instructions said to avoid brushing the surgical site, but not for how long.) He was rude to me at the follow up because he wasn't happy with the way I was brushing - I was given… a special toothbrush, a week AFTER the surgery. This entire expierence has been a nightmare and I am letting everyone in that I come in contact with that they should NEVER trust their oral health to this man or his staff!!!!
