I like Dr.Mazer very much. I trust my heath with him.

All was excellent.

Dr Mazer is unique in his caring, knowledge, and his sense of humor. I cannot imagine a better interaction with a physician

Dr. Mazer is an excellent Dr in all areas of cardiology, he's done my ablation/ EP study awesome in what he does. The only reason not 5 stars is the check in staff, are not helpful or vocal, I felt as I had to ask the questions about my co pay and scheduling, I be been going to Heart Institute for over 10 yrs and have got excellent service up front, it seems like this younger generation, have no people skills! I had to greet them, they just looked at me, and I greeted her, and told her about my appointment asked the questions about co pay, etc... I felt like they were new at the job, and I was a bother to them, not personable at all. From check in to check out and rescheduling, it used to be great. A little Customer service would go a long way, but the Drs are excellent in what they do, the young ladies up front should not deter from service the Drs provide. That's the only thing that needs work.

Awful provider. Disrespectful, does not provide education materials, does not answer questions, and runs late.

Dr. Mazer's office has called me twice in 4 months to postpone my appointments as much as 2 and a half months. Each time, they called less than 3 weeks prior to my appointment, only offering a new appointment more than 2 months out. The first time I accepted the later appointment. But now I have to make other arrangements to see another doc because I can't wait another 2.5 months - AGAIN. I'm new to New Mexico and need to see a cardiologist at least once every 6 months - minimum. I have hypertension and am also prone to atrial fibrillation. I have to see a cardiologist regularly to manage these conditions and be administered an EKG to ensure my meds are not having an adverse effect. I have now been in New Mexico for over 7 months and have still not seen a cardiologist because of Dr. Mazer's inability to properly schedule patients and honor commitments.
