Dr. Seela Ramesh, MD

WARNING: Money is the first priority, not the patient. I made an appointment with Dr. T to have a concern addressed. I went in and the nursing staff was amazing. However, that is where the good ended. Dr. T did no physical exam and took my word for my symptoms. I knew I would need a procedure but was given one without any other tests or exam first. I was then taken to scheduling to figure out co-pays and dates. The first available with Dr. T was not for several months, but Dr. Ramesh had availability 2 months late. I booked it. For the procedure, I had a co-pay to the Dr., a procedure fee to the surgery center and then the office called asking for another co-pay. I asked for an explination on that one and they backtracked. On the day of the procedure, I am called by the center asking to come in early and then was still taken after my original appointment time. The Dr did not come to see me prior to or after the procedure. They brought in medical students who were basically standing… in a corner with no explination. I was not told they were administering the anesthesia and just went to sleep. Woke up fine and given the results, went home to rest. The follow up was scheduled for 2 weeks later and they called to cancel my appointment 10 minutes before as I pulled into the parking lot. They asked if I could come in later and I could not take anymore time off. I asked if they could do telehealth or a phone call and they said they would ask the DR. These calls and requests went on every single day for 8 days with no reponse besides, we will ask the Dr. I finally went in and asked for my results to be printed. The Dr. wanted me to come in, with the 0 hours of PTO I had left, just to collect a co-pay. They never called after the procedure or for follow ups. They do not care about you, they only care about themselves and their money. They treat you with no respect or courtesy. I had to start over with a new Dr who used the results to help me, they had never heard of these things being done to a patient. DO NOT COME HERE. Also, the building is old and run down- needs to be deep cleaned and updated.

Dr. Ramesh was wonderfully straightforward in addressing my need for a colonoscopy before a change-in-life event. When other gastroenterology offices could only offer a first visit a month into the future, Dr. Ramesh personally spoke on the phone with me to make arrangements that fit my urgent schedule. The procedure was smooth sailing with no 'bad results', and the follow-up consultation took place over the phone after the pathology results. This was very convenient for me. I am overwhelming pleased with the personal care and concern shown by Dr. Ramesh and his office.

Multiple attempts to obtain clarification about continuing dangerous meds in preparation for a procedure have gone unanswered. Voicemails (3) yielded NO callbacks. This doctor’s uncommunitive habits border on negligence. Do yourself a favor and SEE SOMEONE ELSE!!!

I have gotten treated by other Dr. in DLCFL but Dr. Seela Ramesh is great and I'm super thankful for the help he is giving me so far. I will not trade him for anyone else.

Everything was good i liked everyone there. They have good care. I would love this place even more if they had a small breakfast food for the patients. Something small like a danish or muffin would be nice.
