Dr. Sein Moe, MD

Dr. Sein Moe worked on my elderly father for several implants, several treatments for myself and after 20 some years, my dad still has his implants in excellent conditions that rec'd multiple compliments from several dentist. I have few treatments done by Dr. Sein Moe, highly recommended, very caring doctor, honorable, excellent dental tx, staffs were awesome. Dr. Sein Moe is the most caring, honorable human being besides "excellent oral surg." and unfortunately negative reviews were mostly bitterness, hateful and often about they didn't want to pay their bills or about $ and expecting others to do the work when insurance is their responsibility. IT'S NOT a form of payment. I have lots of dental work done in my mouth, my friends and most importantly my dad had 9 implants done by Dr. Sein Moe over 20 years ago and dad has Alzheimer, couldn't take care of his oral health, well, ALL 9 implants got lots of compliments from other dentists and still in excellent conditions and helping dad to be able to eat properly as of today, December 2023. If you would like to have an excellent dental tx done, honorable, honest and care, then Dr. Sein Moe is your doctor. I went to doctor Moe on a referral, and it’s been a nightmare. After informing staff members that my X-rays have been sent from my dentist office, they proceeded to take another X-ray anyway, exposing me to unnecessary radiation. Clearly this was done to turn a quick dollar as they were unnecessary. I was then taken to a chair told to sit. Doctor Moe comes in slaps on a pair of gloves, sticks a finger in my mouth and tells me I need to have my tooth extracted. He told me exactly what was on my referral paper and walked out. Everything happened so fast I couldn’t tell you the color of the doctors eyes. Next thing I’m rushed off to a front desk and they start throwing all kinds of numbers. The consultation is $305.00, that’s $155.00 for the panoramic, $150.00 for the consultation. I was charged 385.00 on top of the 140.30 they billed my insurance. When I called to find out why this is happening, I was told by Diana (office manger) to stop calling or they will be filling harassment.… Imagine that - don’t call to ask why we are billing you. I suggest people start writing to the Dental Board in Florida and take action. Put these crooks out of business.

Finally had my procedure with Dr Moe I have Leukemia so Dr Moe had me take 3 Blood test to make sure all was good. I arrived at 7am and was taken into the operation room at 7:15am. They prepped me and Dr Moe came in at 7:30am and we discussed the procedure My lower wisdom teeth were impacted and both has large cysts that needed to come out as well Dr Moe told me that both teeth are very close to the nerve and I could have permanent numbness and tingling on the lower side of my face when he takes them out The other option he told me was to cut the tooth off and leave the root. This way I would not have the permanent numbness. Once the tooth was cut off and it would be lose then he would have to remove it We went that route. Took the top of the tooth off and left the root. All in all I am doing ok following the post procedures with Ice and taking the med he told me to take Have not gotten to the pain killers as I am trying to avoid more drugs in my system. I highly recommend Dr… Moe he is a compassion Dr and cares about his patients. He even called me that night after the surgery to see how I was doing. His staff was also most helpful and kind

First of all for all of my scheduled appointments I had to wait an hour due to doctor "running behind", staff would not bother to call and advise about delay. During the extraction Dr. Moe broke a crown from one tooth and filling from another one. I cannot describe the pain and bruising to my face after the visit. I will not be returning to this practice and I would not recommend anyone to go there.

Dr. Moe and his staff provided exceptional service when I needed a biopsy procedure. Dr. Moe was very accommodating and called me that night from home to make sure I was okay. I would highly reccomend Dr. Moe for any oral surgery needs.

This doctor put my daughter in a life threatening state by ignoring her health issues, not using correct anesthesia and over prescribing 30 vicadon for a tooth extraction. Within 12 hours of seeing this doctor she was rushed to NCH with serious cardiac complications. Do not see this doctor for wisdom teeth or any other service. Oh and payment of 400+ dollars was requested before any treatment occurred. Shameful practice!

Dr. Moe is a good oral surgeon. BUT his office is out of control. My husband was charged over $ 1,100 before the procedure without any explanation as to how this figure was determined. After the surgery, he was sent a bill for $ 3,400. This office was incapable of properly filing dental and medical insurance claims. The medical claim was rejected 8 times for incomplete information. The operative report was a paragraph of illegible chicken scratch. In order to get this bill resolved I had to get involved. I spend over 40 hours getting these bills processed, ultimately having our medical insurance company calling me weekly with an update. Diana screened all my letters and calls to Dr. Moe. I truly believe he has no idea how out of control his office is. Ultimately, the first payment made by our medical insurance was “not received”. That was not true, it just wasn’t posted to our account. When all insurance payments were finally made, our total responsibility was $ 121.50. When I called… about our balance, I was told that my account was “all taken care off”. Did Diana think I forgot that we were due a significant refund? After 22 months, the claim was finally paid and now I had to start another battle to get my refund. I had to enlist the help of our referring Dentist to get my refund. There are too many good Oral Surgeons out there to get involved with this office.

While they did fit me, fairly quickly, for an extraction, I would not return. I provided them with an X-ray of the affected tooth - taken the week before, but they would not treat me without an additional panoramic X-ray, at a cost of $150.00. No matter how you slice it, the panoramic x-ray is additional radiation. They also refused to treat me unless I paid the amount not covered by my insurance. I was happy to pay it on my way out, but they insisted on taking my credit card, as I waited in the chair. I also waited 2 hours in the waiting room. I made the appointment a few days before. They charged my insurance for an additional consult of $150.00. There was no consult. I was there just for the extraction, referred by my general dentist. I've had many extractions and this one was way less than stellar. He was in a big hurry.

Dr. Moe at Collier Oral Surgery is by far the best oral surgeon in Naples. I called the office for an emergency extraction ( I was in tremendous pain) and the staff was able to fit me in right away. They were also able to verify all of my insurance information over the phone and as soon as I arrived to my appointment, they called me back within 15 minutes. Dr. Moe did an excellent job during surgery and I felt no pain. The assistant went over all of the post-operative instructions with me and I was gone within an hour. I would highly recommend Dr. Moe to anyone in need of an oral surgeon.
