He was the best. He will be truly missed

He is clueless when it comes to Cushings. Too old, and needs to retire. He should read a publication: " An update on the overnight dexamethasone suppression test for the diagnosis of Cushing's syndrome: limitations in patients with mild and/or episodic hypercortisolism " before he "writes" someone off! Would not recommend. Very limited amount of Endocrinologists in town.

DrMather is an excellent endocrinologists. He is detailed, reviews test results and offers solid advice.

I had to wait two (2) for an appointment only to be told that he is not in when I reported for my appointment. His office had neither the decency nor the courtesy to call me to reschedule the appointment. I say the Clinical Supervisor who was of NO help; she offer me another appointment for the next two (2) months. That would have meant a four (4) month wait to see him. Total failure.

My doctor had referred me to Dr. Mather and mentioned that it might take awhile to schedule him. I set up an appointment for earliest available, which was 2 months away. Fine. On the day before my appointment, his office called to cancel because he wouldn't be able to make it (?) - they then proceeded to try and schedule me another 2 months out! Unacceptable. I told them to find an earlier time, as I had already been waiting. They said they would call me back to reschedule. And guess what? That was a week ago and still no call back. Very unprofessional. I'll be seeing someone else!

After reading the negative reviews my husband and I were about to cancel our appointments but since you have a long wait to get an appointment we went to see him. We found his office staff very friendly, efficient, & polite. Dr. Mather was very informative & spent lots of time with us. He explained everything thoroughly & did not rush the appt. He really took the time to explain results and answered all our questions and this is why there might also be a bit of a wait time in the waiting room. We were pleasantly surprised with him and will have no problem going back. Reviews are helpful but I guess sometimes it’s good to look past a bad review and try the doctor for yourself.... you just never know!

I have no idea why anybody would have any issues with Dr Mather. I have been seeing him for several years now and he is outstanding. He listens extremely well and is extremely personable. He understands that I know my condition very well and doesn't act as if he knows best because he is the doctor. He is the 7th Endocrinologist that I have had, so believe me I know the difference between a good one and a bad one and he is excellent.

Wish I could give zero stars. Completely incompetent, arrogant, deceiving and worthless is a start in describing this so called endocrinologist. I saw him on several visits and he offered absolutely no help in my condition, not even when it was gradually worsening per my blood work on my last couple of visits with him. (I have hyperthyroidism and Graves disease with multi-nodular goiter.) He always seemed as if he did not want to be bothered and never even explained much of anything. He was actually more concerned in farming me out to other specialists for other issues outside of his expertise and has no knowledge of despite the fact that I had re-assured him that it was being monitored by my primary doctor, and since I did not go to the other specialist he referred me to, he had the audacity to question my other major conditions which he has absolutely no knowledge of and from which I have suffered with since childhood and is a reason why I have Grave's disease in the first place!… That is when I had enough and decided to not go back to waste my time and money with him. Best thing he could do is retire already because he should not be practicing, he's a disgrace to the medical profession! It shouldn't surprise me that he's at IMA, that place is absolutely deplorable. His office staff is atrocious too, especially Lindy, the older woman who takes you back into the room. Avoid at all costs!

I have waited two months to see Dr. Mather. The office lost my records twice, scheduled my appointment on a day he was not in, and then proceeded to cancel my appointment without ever bothering to inform me. IMA is completely imcompetent and not trustworthy. I don't know how the doctor is because I haven't been able to even get to him, but I will be seeking treatment elsewhere.

I've been going to Dr. Mather for about seven years, and have had no problems. Before finding him, I tried several other endocrinologists that were not repsonsive to my needs. I have recommended Dr. Mather to many of my diabetic friends.
