Dr. Seth Stoller, MD

When I saw all the low reviews about Dr. Stoller I was skeptical of my visit with him for a concussion. But I am so happy that I stayed with the appointment! Dr. Stoller is so kind, he never rushed the appointment and actually listened to everything that I had concerns about. He explained everything in detail to me and was very patient if I had questions or seemed confused about anything. I am more than happy with the care that I received. Also, the receptionist Rose is very professional, kind and was fantastic to speak to.

I recommend you only see him if absolutely desperate. It is well worth it to wait for a good, decent doctor than to see him. During my visit, he clearly did not listen to the presentation of my post concussion syndrome and prescribed meds that only masked symptoms and pt that was not needed. Never mentioned getting a scan.

He made me wait for over an hour, was distracted, only spent 5 minutes with me even though I could barely walk or talk after stroke like episodes. 2nd apt. 3 minutes with me to say MRI was clear so he couldn’t help me. Remaining incapacitated 1 year later, no diagnosis, no treatment. He fought me on wanting a second opinion and would not let me (not give records) move to a highly recommended neurologist in his hospital. I am going to Mayo Clinic in Minnesota in two weeks. He is rude, heartless, and my sweet daughter who is a hospice nurse (who was in appointments with me) said she wanted to punch him in the face after our pointless appointment. Triple thumbs down.

Even after reading all of the bad reviews about dr stoller I decided to give him a try because I was on the search for a helpful doctor. While explaining my conditions he interrupted and tried to prescribe me something for a completely symptom that I was not even having. He then tried to prescribe me a medication I already said I tried and was not helping. He did not take the time out to listen and there is no empathy or bedside manner at all. Please do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time and find a doctor who listens and is knowledgeable.

I don't feel like I received any solutions to my issue. I expressed that I did not want to add any prescription medications but that seemed to be the "only" solution. I was told my "mood might be the root of this issue" with no follow up or explanation of that statement. I was told the root cause of headaches lasting days or weeks at a time is tension that I "need to figure out where it is coming from on my own." - but I was given a prescription for Physical Therapy to "see if it helps." I told the doctor that my fingers/hands go numb and I did not receive a response or explanation as to why that could be. I answered honestly about my pain management choices and was chastised and brazenly judged for doing so. In leaving the appointment: I received treatment (in a form I do not want) to mask (not cure) my symptoms. I was given a handful of vaguely possible causes with no follow up or assurance of a solution in the future. I did not feel comfortable with the comments… made when I was truthful about a treatment that is widely used for this exact issue.

I never leave comments, but after seeing these negative reviews, I had to speak truth here. Dr. Stoller is the kindess Dr. you will find! He is the opposite of arrogant! He has been treating me for years now. The person described in those nagative reviews is NOT Dr. Stoller, which has me believing that some vindictive person is writing those negative reviews.

HORRIBLE DOCTOR. Had a concussion and he is the reason why I got worse. Sent me to therapies that made my headaches worse, didn't do any MRIs, and threw pills at me. Then when they didn't work he blamed my depression and anxiety. Of course I'm depressed and anxious because you made me worse!

First I have to start by saying he has the friendliest staff, One of the girls even came out to comfort a patient who was scared, I think her name was Ana or Driana, if you go there make sure you ask for her, she’ll answer all your questions. Very knowledgeable. I only waited 10 mins to be seen, I saw all these bad reviews and was concerned but my insurance had my limited, it’s hard to get an appointment with him if he was that bad his schedule wouldn’t be so full. He explained in a way I could understand and even put me on a better medication for my headaches, it was hard at the beginning because I was frustrated but now I see the difference with my headaches.

Dr. Stoller is arrogant, condescending and insensitive IF he cannot cure you. He suffers from the "God" complex that many patients dread. He put me on preventative ( anti seizure) medication for migraines a few years ago and has increased the dosage for the 3rd time. Since I am not "fixed" I am being told to see a psychiatrist / psychologist. He believes that if he can't cure a patient, something must be wrong with them mentally. I have never recommended him and tell others don't waste your time

I left Dr. Stoller's office in tears. I suffer from frequent severe menstrual related migraines, and Dr. Stoller delegitimized my pain and instead referred me to a psychologist. He was uncaring, didn't listen to me, and didn't answer my questions. He didn't provide me long term solutions to my chronic pain and he downplayed how severe my migraines are. I felt invalidated and defeated. Don't go to this doctor. Especially as a woman, I would seek out a female doctor who is a headache specialist.
