I have had 2 cervical spinal fusion and one lumber fusion. And fromall the other surgeries I have had- shoulder- appendix- - hernia- knee- I never had to go on pain pills. I never had pain afterwards with Dr Zeidman doing the surgeries. I would NEVER see anyone but him for my spine problems. he is through. he WILLNOT do surgery unless it is needed.. I see other negative comments about him and cannot comprehend what went wrong? If something did go wrong it wasn't his fault. he will guide you to whom you need to see. I went in to see him for my spine and I thought I was fat s for my stomach was quite large. he checked my stomach and told me to see Dr. burns for surgery. What? Surgery? I had a hernia? didn't know I had one. I couldn't find Dr Burns for his office where he left wouldn't tell me so I saw another Doctor. But if it wasn't for Dr Zeidman I wouldn't have known. He is a silent man who will answer the questions needed and allow the other doctors he send you to go into detail. He does not engage in lengthy conversations like some other doctors. he is there for you to get fixed and he will accomplish that . I rather have a doctor who cares more your health than a doctor who talks and accomplishes nothing. but give you pills. I adore Dr Zeidman for he has saved me from a life full of unnecessary pain . I feel blessed to know him
This "dr" did a medical review on my FMLA paperwork & claimed he was an orthopedic surgeon. He is not an orthopedic surgeon and should list his title correctly. Furthermore, if he is a neurosurgeon as claim on this website, he has no clue as to what stenosis is or what the effects are when he sees it in writing. I wouldn't want to see a dr like this at all.
Dr. Zeidman was recommended to us, but we were very disappointed with the results of the surgery and, more importantly, with his reactions to the results. The lamanectemy, which I was supposed to receive, turned out to be a spinal fusion. Also, 24 hours after the surgery, my right leg became numb with shooting pains and loss of flexibility in my foot. While I realize that surgery can have unwanted consequences, I could not get anyone on his staff to acknowledge that there were problems or what had caused them. When I did have a nerve conduction study done, Dr. Zeidman looked at the results for less than a minute and told me that I have diabetic neuropathy and should check with my primary care. When I pointed out that neurapathy doesn't happen within 24 hours, he ignored me and left the room.
