Dr. Seymour Huberfeld is a graduate of Yeshiva University and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed his postgraduate training at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and was Chief Medical Resident from 1991-1992. This was followed by a fellowship in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at LIJ.Dr. Huberfeld has a particular focus on sleep disorders and has promoted the use of home sleep testing to facilitate the treamnet of Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Dr. Huberfeld, his wife Lori, and their four children live in Lawrence, New York and are active members of their local synagogue organizations.Dr. Huberfeld maintains an active role in the education of medical students and is an active member of teaching faculty of the Zucker Hofstra Medical School. He is a member of the Academy of Medical Educators at the Zucker/Hofstra School of Medicine. Dr Huberfeld is very knowledgeable. He seems to know his stuff well. He spent about 5-10 minutes with me. We discussed my asthma and how to use inhaler properly. Only thing is his bedside manner. Other than that, he seems to know his stuff well.

I started seeing Dr Huberfeld last summer. He seems really rushed. He does know his stuff well. Did several breathing tests and put me on inhaler and Prednisone. You can communicate with him through the portal but if it is an important question, don't expect an answer right away. His office was able to give me a quick appointment when I was sick

Good doctor. Was a little disappointed that I wasn't asked my medical issue as it may pertain to asthma. I also felt he was rushed. Didn't spend so much time with me.

It’s nearly impossible to get someone on the phone and after a very long wait on hold his staff doesn’t know what’s going on. This reflects very poorly on his practice and he seems stressed and impatient now. He was very surly at my last appointment. I’m very disappointed with him lately.

I do not know if he is a good doctor or not but he yelled at my 80 year old father with a heart condition. I am sure he has a horrible bedside manner.

Doctors & Lawyers, few are keepers. Dr. Huberfeld is a guy I would give a high rating to considering all those little things we think of when we think of doctors. He is a keeper. I actually enjoy the visits.

Dr. Huberfeld is a superior physician in every way. He is compassionate, caring, exceptionally competent, and comprehensive in evaluating medical conditions. Having been Dr. Huberfeldâ??s patient for almost 15 years, I can attest personally to the high level of care that he provides his patients. If one has to wait for an extended time to visit with Dr. Huberfeld, itâ??s only because he truly takes time to listen to his patients and discuss their condition(s) and potential treatment(s) thoroughly with them. Dr. Huberfeld is absolutely the best! 5 STARS +++ ALL THE WAY!

Dr. Huberfeld is the most intelligent and caring physician I have ever been to. He spent a great deal of time listening to my concerns and complaints and examined and diagnosed me in laymens terms so I actually understood what he said. His staff - outstanding - articulate ladies.
