Dr. Katz is an outstanding diagnostician. Understands Crohns thoroughly. I used Dr. Dan Present for almost 40 years, and Dr. Katz is in the same category.

Dr. Katz is as good as it gets as a Gastroenterologist! He has been recognized by his colleagues and patients alike, for many, many years, as THE leader in his sub-specialty. There is no other GI Doc more qualified than Dr. Katz. I am proud to be his patient fore more than 30 years and am most grateful for his service.

You know you are in the best medical hands if you are Dr. Katz 's patient. His manner is matter of fact and calm. He is not a warm fuzzy person but the very best gastrointerologist you will find and THAT is the reason you are his patient.

Dr. Katz is the most kind and compassionate doctor I have ever met. He has saved my life three times with his quick and expert treatment. I would not be here without him. He has a wry, intelligent sense of humor and a deadpan delivery. The only reason he would ever offer a patient the opportunity to be part of a study is if it could help the patient. He is a brilliant doctor and a wonderful man.

He is a top notch physician and a leader in his field of gastroenterology. If you need a cuddly sweet doctor then he's not for you. If you need a real expert who knows his stuff then he's your man.

Make you feel rushed. Did not have time to ask my questions and when I did he was very evasive. Seems to be interested in patients that he can put in studies. Very disappointing.
