Dr. Shahriar Ghodsian, MD

After my spine surgery and my discharge from the hospital I had a problem comming off of the steriods. He arranged to meet me at about midnight to give me medication that helped reduce my problem coming off of the steriods. He followed up the next day by calling me at home then referred me back to the hospital to run tests and admitted me for 24hr observation. If not for his dedication to my wellfair I don't know what would have happen.

Billing office is in dissaray

Today I got a bill from this doctor for services he supposedly rendered in June, 2013. I have never heard of this doctor until now and have no idea what the initial $3550 charges were for so I called the office to get additional information. They told me "it takes a while for the insurance to handle out-of-network claims" and that I would need to contact the hospital to get information (because supposedly it relates to a surgery he assisted with). Seriously, it takes over 2 years to bill patients?

My experience with this doctor have been the worst I have received from any medical proffesional in my life. He over saw my care at 2 different hospitals for 2 surgeries. I now have such severe anxiety of hospitals that I start shaking at the thought of being in any hospital. He is rude, arrogant, has no empathy for the suffering of patients, and should have his license pulled for unprofessionalism. I am filing a report with medical board for comments like:" your not in pain, Ive seen patients in pain" ( while smirking) this was said while he watched me sobbing in pain from a fusion surgery and exploratory surgery to repair a fluid leak. I was in such pain that I relieve it daily. Shame on u Dr. Goshian. Your treatment of me was horrific. Your God complex will catch up to you sometime.

Met dr ghodsian who was called to help with complications after my surgery. He was professional, explained consepts and we always felt like we were part of the process. Made us feel like we were the only patients in the hospital. Me and my family always looked forward to seeing dr ghosian. he was our security blanket. Because of him a very bad situation turned into a great recovery. Our family cant thank him enough.

If the U.S. had more great doctors like Dr. Ghodsian we would all be better off. He is perhaps the most caring doctor I have ever had, not to mention absolutely brilliant. I hope I never have to be hospitalized again, but if I do, I sure hope hes my doctor. Bless you Dr. Ghodsian!

I was in the ICU in critical condition. Everything was going wrong and all hope seemed to be lost. My family decided to change my doctor to Dr. Ghodsian because he came highly recommended by friends. In a matter of a week, he had diagnosed me with a disease non of the other doctors had picked up and I started treatment. After two weeks, I felt better enough that I came out of the ICU. Thats what I call a doctor!

This doctor is rude and arrogant. I meet him at Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital, which is an outstanding hospital, but because of him I've changed my mind about the hospital. Anyone that would employee him is not professional enough for me to put my life in their hands.

Dr. Ghodsian cared for me at Cedars Sinai for an extremely rare Celiac Aneurysm(less then one hundred eighty in world medical history). The doctor saved my life with a collapsed lung situation with his fast action and diagnosis.

Doctor diagnosed and performed in the expected manner. However, you'll NEVER stop getting bills from this office. They lose payments. They make agreements, accept payments based on the agreement, and then bill you for the entire amount...over and over and over, even though you've already paid. They are incredibly rude and insulting. I don't know how this doctor stays afloat. I don't want to stick around and find out. Good luck. Low points for inadequate business office personnel.
