Dr. Shahrouz Y Ghodsian, MD

I was treated by Dr. Ghodsian as a resident at The Bel Air Home, a rehabilitation facility. He told me that he had filed orders for prescriptions and treatments and was waiting on insurance. After asking him about it multiple times and not receiving updates, I contacted insurance, only to find out that he had not put in the requests. He later claimed to have put in an order for my medication refill and had not in fact done so, and I went for four days without my necessary medication. This medication is not supposed to be stopped without a gradual reduction in dosage, and I was in danger being taken off of it abruptly. He never gave me an examination, either before or during my treatment.

He preys on vulnerable job seekers who expect a "doctor" to have integrity. He does not, at least as it concerned me. "Paperwork coming" while his "assistant" in another state covers for him by adding her own lies to the mix. Yes, saying you "didn't have time to get to it yet" was a lie. I can't express how disappointing it is to be pushed out the job market due to age. Then to have what seemed to be a perfect position presented (after many grueling attempts at locating work), until too many lies surfaced only to point to more lies. This phantom job offer was merely another dead end based on false promises from people who have no shame for lying. I regret answering the ad on Indeed that stayed up and remained active (they show when you were there last) even after this doctor promised a job that just doesn't seem to even exist.

Amazing doctor. Put his own health aside to care for me in the hospital when I was in the ICU with corona virus. He talked to my family every day who were not allowed to visit me. I believe he is a big reason I made it.

Without giving details, I can just tell you Dr. Ghodsian saved my son. Year after year he did not give up on him. Even when he could not afford the visits he saw him for free. Im not an expert on doctors, but I know a great human when I see one. And he is definitely great.

He always spends a good amount of time with me, I never feel rushed. Hes very accessible, he even called me back at 7PM on a Sunday night.

The man basically saved my life. Its that simple. Listened when others didnt and cared when others did not.

Dr. G really cares about me. Not just as a patient, but as a person. His knowledge and experience are beyond reproach. I highly recommend him!
