Very insightful and helpful Great care He is the best I have seen

I had such a wonderful experience working with Dr. Pri Paz. He was so supportive and thorough throughout each step of my pregnancy and delivery. I was able to successfully have a VBAC. Although he is part of a big practice, he really took such great care and took the time to explain anything or answer questions even when he was back to back busy. I would recommend him 10/10.

I cannot emphasize enough how amazing of a doctor Dr. Pri-Paz is. Aside from his knowledge, incredible bedside manner, and calm & relaxed demeanor, Dr. Pri-Paz is hilarious! My husband & I looked forward to every appointment. Dr. Pri-Paz truly values and cares for his patients (the mother to be and your unborn baby). He is extremely cautious and conservative and makes you feel so comfortable with the progression of your pregnancy. I was being closely monitored for any abnormal Dopplers, and I in fact had one abnormal one while Dr. Pri-Paz was away on vacation. He called me on his vacation which was out of the country, to go over the results & discuss a plan of action. Who does that? There are honestly not enough words to describe the experience I had being under Dr. Pri-Paz’ care. My husband and I literally do not have one complaint. This was my first child and my first experience could not have been more ideal. We are so excited our daughter is here but we miss our appointments.

Doctor Pri-Paz answers all your question, makes you feel comfortable and confident no matter what is the problem. All the clinic operates very well form the front desk, nurses, etc

Writing anonymously - bring a medical professional myself I am embarrassed I had such a poor judgement and decided to choose dr. Pri - Paz to oversee my high risk pregnancy. I thought being a patient at Cornell already it would be an easy transition from Reproductive IVF to maternal - fetal department. However when during a routine ultrasound a radiologist told me that he can no longer see the heartbeat, I was referred back to my treating doctor - dr. Pri-Paz. Devastated and lost, I went to his office and was told that doctor was not seeing patients that day and that his assistant Lina will give him a message so he can call me. Anxiously waiting for a phone call that never came that evening , I called the office early in the morning and was told that dr. Pri-Paz was given a message and he will call me back. Hours went by and I called the office again in the afternoon and got the same response- it’s the office hours, Doctor is with the patients and will call me back. Desperate I… called again 15 minutes before office closing time hoping that I will get a hold of doctor before the end of the day - again unsuccessfully. Lost and frustrated I called back my endocrinologist and explained the situation. Surprised, he immediately asked to come and see him as soon as possible - next morning . While I appreciated his immediate response , I am in disbelief that my treating doctor - drPri-Paz did not even bother to acknowledge the fact that I am carrying a dead fetus and need immediate attention and advice. I don’t know what is that if not straight forward patient abandonment and malpractice. I guess I will be contacting a patient advocate to see what I can do to continue care with a different doctor.

Initially, He seemed to provide a good standard care of me, and had a good bedside manner. For the most time of my pregnancy, and when I was doing well, he was very nice to me. However, when I got really sick during my last month of the pregnancy, he, simply, disappeared, and did not seem to care at all. First, I was sick with a terrible flu, was admitted, and treated by some students, who send me back home in a terrible condition just weeks prior to my delivery. Dr. Pri-paz did not seem to care much…and his colleague, who was covering him that night, did not even see me physically, she just relied on some nursing assessments and medical students to send me back home. At that time, my heart rate was in 150, I had severe cough, was vomiting and dehydrated for days, sleep deprived as I could not sleep for more than a week even upright, still, no one seem to care much to admit and take care of me and my poor baby. How cruel is that! “You just got a cold” – a nurse told me, Dr. is OK with… you going home…Secondly, when I was already overdue for 10 days, Dr. told me that he would induce me in couple of days (“on coming Monday”). Oh, well, I went into labor Friday morning, and he was nowhere to be found. Where is he? Oh, well, it’s a Jewish Passover, so he was nowhere to be found, and I was left in the hands of another stranger who took a horrible care of me (she tortured me for 12 hours, and then she cut me open, plus, she forgot to give me the appropriate painkillers.) I developed severe post-partum preeclampsia. My poor baby suffered head hematoma, and, now we are dealing with a long term speech delay. I could have been admitted to any hospital that night, and, I think would have been taken care better than what they did to me at Cornell. I will never go back to him. I feel I was just a number for him, not a real patient. He did NOTHING for me when I needed him the most on 2 occasions, and he did not seem to care. Me and my entire family is still upset about the care I have received during my most vulnerable time, when I really needed my doctor at the bedside. Instead, he was not reachable, when my life and my babies’ life were in danger. What is worse, he did not seem to care at all. I do not recommend him.
