Dr. Shalva V Kakabadze, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Kakabadze when he was practicing at The Ohio State University. I have to date not been able to find a doctor as exemplary as he. I miss him so much, as he made me feel like I was a part of his family. He was thorough, and took time to explain your illness to you. He had a great bedside manner and I will never forget how great a doctor he is.

Dr.K understands the body, how it works and people. In other words, he is NOT a pill pusher or a pharmacy rep pushing their products on you for some extra dollars in his own pocket. He is direct, kind, compassionate and understanding. The key is being honest with Dr.K. so he can treat you properly. I travel over an hour to see Dr.K because I trust his competence. Note: He does not employ the staff at the Reynoldsville location, Penn Highlands does. But the staff he has at this moment is the best it has been in over a decade. Get Kari for your blood work. His PA, Alyssa Hanna, is trustworthy also, I have had her in two same-day emergency appointments and she has been thorough and excellent both times! One tip, try to the secure the first or last appointment available in the morning or afternoon for your shortest wait.

Dr. Kakabadze addressed all my concerns which i had a few! Very smart kind and really listened. The surrounding staff are kind and helpful and the office is nice as well...

I am a former patient of Dr. Kakabadze, and I truly miss him. My family and I have not had the level of care that we had with him. We are still upset that he moved away. If it were possible for us to travel to where he is to receive the excellent care that he gave our family we would. We are very unhappy with our current physician and wish he could return here.

One of the best family doctors I ever had I honeslty had former family doctors who did nothing for me only used me as a second paycheck Dr K took my in when things were rough for me but he helped me out every and anyway possible got me in with the right specialist and got me fixed up I was at one point not able to work but Now I am successfully working and in college and happy now things are better for me now which is a plus I am so glad I got in with Dr K he and Sharon and his nurses has helped me out so much So glad I got in up here even though I am relocating for college I am not changing family doctors I am happy where I am at right now

He makes accusations, and is against any person that needs pain relief. Even if you have had several back surgeries. I know of others that have been treated badly by this Dr.

From the very first appointment, he gave off an arrogant moral stature. This DR. and his whole staff need to be Inspected by someone higher up in the Medical Chain. But they would probably just pay them off. I was wrongly diagnosed, and I consider this to be mis-treatment. Then I was considered to be a liar, I do not appreciate that at all. I don't consider this to be proffessional at all, from any DR., Very displeased with this DR. and his services. Many others feel the same way, but haven't spoken up yet.

I was very disturbed with this doctor. I went to him do to my doctor is in the process of changing practices and I have arthritis and other pain manage issues so I had to have a doctor till I can return to his new practice. First I do not sell or give way my medications. I uses them as instructed on my script. But all he was concerned with was my pain medication issues and never checked my lungs or checked my thyroid that is one of the issues that I have had problems with as long as my pain he drug tested me like a druggie and made me feel like I was wrong for needing pain medication to keep working and not have to go on disability . If some one out there can give me a better way to get rid on my pain then please let me know but up till now nothing He never asked if I still had some of my meds left he just assumed I used them all I had a 1/4 of a bottle left cause I only take them when I need them. But he asked about my phenlyn patch that never stay on they fall off most times on… first day so by time I need more I have went days with out but he still treated me like a druggie who sold or worse my pills. I was so upset I cried all the way home. I will not return be humiliated or treated like a criminal he even did urine test because he said a few years ago I had no opiods in my urine yea because I forced my self to come off of the drugs because I was on such a high does I was worried I was becoming addicted and I want to see if I could do with out any he would have check my records back then I asked for no refills either but the pain got so bad without some thing I could not work so I asked the doctor that urine tested me for them for new refill but I am a druggie who deserves to be treated like a criminal well tell you what you will find opiods in my urine you will never have to manage my pain again cause I will not return

This Dr. and his staff are so disorganized, always got everything mixed up, including test results, billing, etc. Does not listen accurately. I'm not the only person that this has happened to.
