Dr. Shamim Ahmed, MD

While I felt the doctor and the nurse were very nice and pleasant, I feel there is a level of professionalism that is not there. For one, it was stated I needed a specific medication and both the doctor and nurse were concerned. It's been over a week, and I can't get ahold of the office to see what's going on. I checked with my pharmacy as well. My former doctor retired and so I was trying this place out, but I do feel there is a lack of communication that I am not liking especially when it comes to my health.

I got bit by a tick and after removing it I called my doctor right away to ask what I should do. Front desk person does not speak English and kept trying asking if I'm a new patient. I asked her if she knows what tick means and she didn't, so I asked to speak with my doctor. after a long wait some other lady answered and she didn't know what tick was too. She said that they don't deal with that and told me to look for emergency. I ended up having Lyme disease.

disgusting attitude of the staff is the reason you should not go here if you're looking for a PCP

He is a very kind and generous person. He listens to your problem and explains after hearing you. He gives bare minimum tests and you are free to do it from any location! Usually, they refer you somewhere to have a commission, which is kind of industry trend. My mother is his patient too for last year or so. He will accommodate you if this is urgent, which is the best part. The minus side of this is that you have a long waiting time. So, if you are anal about waiting, this is not your place. Staff is ok but don't expect vip service, as they are busy.

The doctor himself is a very profession person. No complaints about him. But if you decide to visit him then be prepared for the worst kind of office staff you could possibly imagine. The front desk lady even told me that I should change my doctor and and hung up the phone. NO ONE in the office ever apologized for their unprofessional conduct. We have had many instances where they were literally caught lying to our faces.

I have been under the care of Dr. Shamil Ahmed for a few years now and have being extremely satisfied with the care I have received. He is knowledgeable in his field and extremely loving and patience in his individual care he provides me every time I require to see him. The care I get reminds me of the great doctors of long ago.

i do not know about doctor . every time i made a appointment when i go in the doctor office those who are working in the reception they are so mean and so rudely serve with patients. they gave the appointment and they also said you do not have any appointment. they such a stupid and nonsense.

Very caring physician. not commercial, pays individual attention, very professional.
