Dr. Shana R Kaznoski, DO

My daughter was a patient here for ten years until this week. She suddenly developed very scary symptoms including extreme fatigue(sleeping for 16 hrs on the weekend), hair falling out, pica, etc. My husband called the office and requested a sick appointment and Connie said the earliest she could get seen was in 10 days. He told her that this was an emergency and she was extremely rude basically saying take the appointment or not she didn’t care. I was dissatisfied in delaying care so I took her to urgent care. They ran a bunch of tests and said to follow up with Dr. Shana to discuss results. When the results called the day, I called the office and asked to speak with the doctor. I was put on hold for a while just for her to say the doctor wasn’t in but she would call me the following day. The next day Connie(not the doctor or PA) called back to say Dr. Shana refused to go over any tests ran by another doctor. She said I could take the original Thursday appointment(still 7 days… away) and she would rerun all the tests. She wanted us to wait a week then get the tests reran at the same place she just had the tests a few days prior. By the time I would have received any answers, it would have been a full two weeks since the original call. I found her a new doctor and she was seen the next day. She is now on four different prescriptions and I cannot fathom how sick she would have been if we waited. The new doctor requested her medical records and they refused the send them without us paying $25 fee. Connie is relentlessly rude for no reason. I always liked Dr. Shana but there is no excuse for no sick appointments available and delaying care because she wants the money for ordering extra tests. Do not recommend.

I called 2 different times to get my children in for sick appointments and each time I was told it would be over a week to 2 weeks before I got an appointment. Both times resulted in my children being taken to urgent care. My youngest ended up having a double ear infection and bronchitis, if I would've waited the 2 weeks for an appointment her ears would've burst and she would've had pnemonia. Why did this happen ? Because Dr Shana's nurse, Ashley, sister has a personal problem with me (Therefore Ashley does) which resulted in her and Connie to refusing to schedule my children a sick appointment when they needed it. I wanted to address this issue with the Dr to let her know about how unethical it was and she refuses to talk to me about it. How do I know it was unethical ? Because Ashley's sisters bestfriend called to schedule her child a sick appointment and got in the very next day, but I had to wait 2 weeks when my childs symptoms were much worse ? ....Hmmmm.

Connie, the receptionist is not professional AT all. She comes off annoyed with questions. She uses words like, like I said, I have no idea, we’re not your insurance company, etc… she must explain things incorrectly to Dr Shanna. Today was the last straw. I explained my dissatisfaction with Connie to Dr Shanna and she began defending Connie’s behavior with me. Dr Shana walked out of the room where she was treating my 5 year old saying a few choice words to me. She told me I would NEVER find a Doctor as she walked into her office and shut the door. Connie and her nurse followed her into her office as I basically let myself out. They do not like to be questioned about billing. I would give a zero star if I could for what and how Dr Shanna talked to me in front of my daughter. Very Unprofessional.

Dr Kaznoski is an amazing and caring doctor! She is always thorough and very accurate in diagnosing the problem as well as choosing a successful way in dealing with it. She goes the extra mile to care for my daughter! I am so thankful for her!

Dr. Kaznoski has been a wonderful pediatrician for my son. She is caring and always takes time to answer my questions. I have never waited long for a visit and can usually get an appointment within a day or two.
