Dr. Shannon Elaine Riedley Malone, MD

Dr. Malone is the best doc there is. Super kind and nurturing, but also means business. My husband even said that he wish she could be his doc! She means to give you the best medical care she can possibly gives. Cares intensely about the life of each patient she is given. Through a challenging delivery of our baby boy made me feel so comfortable and at easy with every decision we made and she made throughout.

Wait times are terrible, always 30-3hrs once in the few years I went to Dr Malone. She doesn’t seem knowledgeable or genuine. She misdiagnosed me and even mentioned a hysterectomy for a cyst that I was born with that has been there always. I had a specialist surgacially remove it. She claimed I had endometriosis which I do not. On top of it months went by without her calling me back or even seeing me herself. When I finally did, she diagnosed me with no vaginal exam of her own. I always felt rushed and like she doesn’t particularly care to have patients that aren’t “breeding”. The miscommunication btwn herself and the front desk is horrible. It’s the most unprofessional practice in the Midsouth area. SO GLAD I GOT A SECOND OPINION.

Unfortunately I have had to see a lot more of Dr. Malone in the past year than I would like but I feel she is always concerned about my health and treats me as if I am her only patient when I see her. I have recently been having a lot of problems and Dr. Malone has always been there, even calling after hours to check to make sure everything was okay. A few weeks ago I ended up going to the ER for a problem and even the ER doctor who had talked to Dr. Malone that night (midnight) complimented on how nice and perky she was even in the middle of the night. This was a weekend and Monday morning at 8:00am on the dot I received a phone call from Dr. Malone's office stating they wanted to see me first thing that morning, since Dr. Malone was aware of me being seen in the ER over the weekend. I can't imagine having another OBGYN. Dr. Malone has helped me birth two beautiful babies via C-section and I am very thankful!

She is a great dr. It was my first pregnancy and she made sure i understood everything at everything visit. Her staff is great they make you feel so welcome. Even when the big day came she was right there explaining everything and doing everything for me and my baby. I love Dr. Malone. I will use her again.

Best doctor ever

She is an amazing person and doctor. She has delivered two of my three children and she took extremely good care of me throughout the entire experience. She listened, explained anything that I had concerns about and made me feel good even under extreme circumstances. I highly recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Malone is the most caring doctor I have ever dealt with....Dr. Malone bedside manner and he sincere concern for your well-being let's you know that their are still a few doctors who care.
