this doctor is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever encountered. She cares so little for what her patients need that she will berate those trying to get vital information from her to take care of them. I feel like she needs a class in compassion and how to act professionally. She yells on the phone and her staff appears to be scared of her when you talk to them. She expects you to do her job for her and sadly it might be because she herself does not know what she is doing. I would not recommend her to anyone. Please pay attention to what others are saying and save your money and go with another doctor. I would rather have a physician that cares about my needs and does not flaunt her ego.
The positive comments are written by her because she talks about them.My wife and I had our first child with Dr. Obey. We had a HORRIBLE experience. We are pregnant again and when my wife talked with me about staying with Dr. Obey, my response was:If given the choice between going to a hospital and having Obey deliver my new baby or going to a fire station and having a fireman deliver my baby, I would choose the fireman. She's that rude and that crazy.Obey's most common comment is the poor reviews are other doctors are writing them. That can't be further from the truth. I lived through 40 weeks and a check up with Obey and don't want you to have to.
This woman was horrible! I was very sick from undiagnosed endometriosis that was causing me so much pain that I was fainting. She proceeded to accuse me of faking it all just to get drugs. After she did the exploratory surgery, the nurse in the recovery room gave me a dose of morphine and, because of how much pain I was in, was going to give me a second dose but Dr. Obey walked in at that moment and told her not to give me ANYTHING at all for pain because I was "just a complainer" because she "didn't do enough inside [me] to be in as much pain as [I] was PUTTING ON." She never told me what her findings were either. I had to bring the images taken during the surgery to my new Ob/GYN to get my diagnosis. Bottom line...This doctor is a completely rude, inconsiderate b*tch with the second worst bedside manner I have ever experienced in my life.
