Dr. Shelby Orison Cooper, MD

Emotionally traumatized after my appointment... Dr. Cooper did not listen to my requests and desires regarding birth control methods and made degrading and unhelpful comments about my body and lifestyle choices while I was undressed on the exam table. In addition he did several tests without my knowledge or permission and conducted an unnecessary procedure, all of which were not covered by my insurance. The only thing I have to show for this appointment is humiliation, frustration and several hundred dollars in unpaid medical bills. The office staff and nurses were excellent, empathetic, and helpful, but if you are a woman I would NOT recommend this doctor!

I had a biopsy done about two weeks ago,still waiting on the results. I left multiple voicemails and nobody returns your phone call.

If you like your dr to put you down, call you fat, call you mentally unstable, and not listen to what you have to say. Then he is the doctor for you.

I received a collection notice, because Dr. Cooper filed bankruptcy. Just thought everyone should be aware.

We have been doctoring with Doctor Cooper for about 6 months now and we absolutely love him. He gets to the point and gets you out of there! He is super caring and wants to help you find your infertility problem! I highly recommend Dr. Cooper if you are experiencing any infertility problems!

Dr. Cooper doesn't explain anything to you once you've started the program. He just moves through the steps and doesn't tell you why or how things are happening. I had a procedure done and I had no idea what to expect, but it turned out to be very painful. It would have been nice to know that going into it. His staff is awful. I think they base their judgement on you based on what they think of your socio economic standing. Dr. Bopp is very nice when you do talk to him, but that is very few and far between, as most appointments are with the staff, as it usually is, but when the staff is uncaring, it doesn't matter how nice he is the few times you see him. I stayed with him three months before deciding to see another doctor.
