Dr Cober, Tanasbourne Plastic Surgery, did my carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists and trigger release on a thumb and I have NO scars! Other surgeons cut your wrist and palm all up! Dr Cober did a small incision in an existing crease, so you can't see a scar! Years later I'm still pain free! And now I'm sending my siblings to him for the same carpal tunnel surgery! Gotta love genetics! He's really nice, straightforward, easy to talk to and answers questions.

My experience with Dr. Cober has been beyond anything I could have prepared for. After having breast cancer 3x and numerous surgeries by several other surgeons I can honestly say that he treated me like a woman not just a "cancer patient". He heard me and listened to my fears and my hopes for how I might be reconstructed after much damage from prior treatments (mostly radiation damage). I would recommend Dr. Cober to anyone needing and/or wanting plastic surgery. He is by far a 5 star surgeon *****+

I was referred to Dr. Cober for breast reduction surgery in collaboration with another surgeon who would perform a lumpectomy. After an initial consultation wherein he answered all my questions and concerns, I was assured that the results would be acceptable and improve some pain and heath issues I was having due to overabundunce of breast tissue. Indeed, the results were better than I expected. 6 months after my surgery, I was back to my regular sports activities, and 12 months after the surgery I am happier than ever. Scarring is minimal, and the pain I had from supporting such heavy breasts is gone. I am a 51 year old woman. I went from a bra size 30-G to a 32 - B and I couldn't be happier.

Dr. Cober and his staff were very friendly and informative in what to expect and how long the process would take. They were also helpful in working with insurance for the coverage being approved. I saw Dr. Cober for breast augmentation with fat transfer through liposuction. The procedure, recovery, and results were all as expected from his detailed explanations leading up to the surgery. I would recommend Dr. Cober for both procedures, especially as breast augmentation with fat and no inclusion of implants is still rare to find.

My breast cancer surgeon recommended Dr Sheldon Cober. She is very particular! I ended up having a lumpectomy on the cancer side and a breast reduction on both. I still look at the pictures of before and after and can't believe how beautiful the results are. He is easy to talk with and answers any and all questions. Went into his practice over 2 years ago for a "consult" for breast augmentation which he advertises. It was just a secretary with a sales pitch on breast implants. Called on 30 June 2023, and asked what was done at the consult. It would be the same without Dr. Cober even seeing what my body needed. But charging $75! That is per his staff.

I delayed having a breast reduction for eight years due to my apprehension regarding what the scars and final result would look like and my worry over potentially experiencing long term side effects. Dr. Cober presented me with excellent information regarding the surgery and expected outcomes using computer images and pamphlets to educate me. He is very personable and he encouraged me to ask as many questions I needed for me to understand the entire breast reduction journey, pre, post and future. After the consultation, I was satisfied and confident that Dr. Cober was the surgeon for me. I am completely satisfied with my results and impressed with the skills Dr. Cober has demonstrated because the surgical incisions are barely visible after only six months post surgery and I have a very youthful, perky appearance, but more importantly, I'm not experiencing the neck and shoulder pain which were my main concerns on having breast reduction surgery in the first place. Dr Cober is an excellent surgeon , I was diagnosed with breast cancer and because I also had the breast cancer gene , I decided to have both breasts removed and do reconstruction . When I found Dr Cober, I was discouraged after a failed implant surgery. He was great explaining all my options in great detail and very attention to detail. I had the fat removed from my tummy instead of doing another implant and the surgery was a success . I was nervous about it but Dr Cober didn’t rush me and allowed me to make a decision when I was comfortable . He was very attentive before, during, and after surgery. I highly recommend him no matter which option you decide to go with. I can say that now I have a breast that looks , feels, and moves naturally . I don’t regret my decision to have the surgery and I’m so blessed that I found Dr Sheldon Cober! He even sent me pictures of before and after and it’s amazing to see the difference the surgery made . I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer in 2016. I started with a unilateral mastectomy and reconstruction. Before my exchange surgery I found out that I have a genetic mutation that increases my chances of certain cancers by as much as 40%. I therefore opted for a second prophylactic mastectomy. Dr. Cober was supportive of my decisions and checked up on me after each surgery to make sure I was doing well and that my pain was managed. During this process I got to spend a lot of time with Dr. Cober. I actually looked forward to our visits (how many doctors can you say that about?). He is great at explaining procedures and options, quick with jokes and puns but most importantly he is an excellent surgeon, a kind and compassionate person and a true artist with the human body. I am very happy with the end results. I highly recommend him.
