Dr. Shelly Mcintyre, MD

I went to see Dr. McIntire and was told to sit in a hard chair beside her computer desk in an overly bright small office room. She stared at me in a very mean look and said why are you here! I said well I can't say it all in one sentence and she kept staring at me with a very hateful look. She had some lady in there typing. I thought it was to be a private session. She made remarks to the lady what I would say and both would laugh at sensitive things I wanted to talk about. She was hateful and kept starring at me with a mean look. I never went back and I would advise anyone to find another Doctor! It was the worst Doctor's visit I have had in my whole life!

Worst experience. Writing for a relative that went. First of all the way the doctor told patient to take medication was highly incorrect!! This medication is not supposed to be broken in half. Also this medication should be taken on a regular basis. She told patient to take as needed. There was no professionalism. My advice for anyone reading this is to stay away from this office.

Dr. McIntyre is an amazing Physician! She takes the time to really listed and understand. Unlike a lot of Phyciatrist; she doesn’t just write prescriptions and sends you on your way. She cares. I have been a health Care administrator for 27 years and have worked with many physicians. She is one of the best!

Less than $80 dispute on bill. Not willing to resolve. Affected my credit rating.

Not what I would consider to be a patient advocate

Very professional, but good "bedside manner." Open to listening to patient's observations and experiences. Background in pharmaceuticals quite helpful.
