Dr. Sherief Mohammed Kamel, MD

This Dr. treats his patients like numbers. He is telling you what he wants to do, not listening to you. Doesn't care if his recommendation causes you more problems getting medication or supplies, costs you more money, its about what is easiest for him. Office staff is THE WORST, don't answer phones, can't order supplies or respond to insurance for approvals. I literally have to drive up there to get answers about refills because they will not answer the phones. Last straw a Med Asst lied about me to the Dr and the Dr did not even verify it before lashing out. They cannot keep Drs either, i have seen over 3 in 4 years.

This is not a review about the doctor’s that work here. They are ok! BUT you make an appointment, you arrive there, you have received a confirmation that is according to them automated and has NOTHING to do with their office. The appointment is cancelled according to the receptionist. Why have the useless system? The receptionist said she tried to reach you (under a wrong number) but never under the CORRECT number that is in the record. But strangely enough the aufomated message made it to you. If only that appointment was the one that is valid. This is not the first time!!! I have no time for this and switch. I wonder if the doctor’s know about this!

much better than the other endocrine practices in the area . They actually go out of the box for you and sincerely try to help

The doctor has a great bedside manner . Very knowledgeable . Very busy clinic because everyone wants to see them . Almost everyone from my family goes there for different reasons and they are all happy with the results. I go there for thyroid and my weight and I feel the best I ever have felt in years . Highly recommended

Beautiful office, but always runs very late, 1 hour+ (!)

The staff is very nice and helpful! The new office is absolutely beautiful. Dr Kamel is very kind , respectful and takes time to explain things to you! Nurses and ARNP's are great! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a AWESOME Endocrinologist!

I was at my apt 30 mins early, got all the paper work in to be called back, was called back and sat in the room 35 mins, went to ask if I had been forgotten and guess what the Nurse Practioner FOR I WAS THERE!! I sat another 20 mins after she was made aware for the second time that I was waiting and still she did not come in and then the Dr himself came walking in some 15 mins later, so a total of about 60 mins had passed and someone finally came into see me, the Dr said oh how are you doing, and I said not so good I've been waiting an hour and he offered no APOLOGY NOTHING. I said if this is any sign of what our relationship will be like, I need to find me another dr and I got my records and left.

Dr. Kamel is very nice, but his bedside manner isn't the problem. I was put on thyroid medication, and my blood work came back normal, but after a year of being on the medication, I still wasn't feeling good. I explained this to him, but he just told me it must be another problem, and sent me out the door, instead of trying to figure out what the problem actually was. Anyone with a health problem knows that having your concerns dismissed is the most heart breaking thing to happen when you're already dealing with a new diagnosis. So, I switched to a new doctor who changed the medication I was on from a synthetic compound to a natural compound, and now I feel great! Also, the staff is rude. Overall, I would not recommend this doctor.
