Dr. Sherif Abdel-Hady Nasef

After years of having been misdiagnosed. I was referred to Dr. Nasef. Unfortunately I do have RA in a very active severe state. Dr Nasef is very knowledgeable and treating this very aggressively. He has a wonderful bedside manner, and explains everything regarding the disease, labs and treatment. I look forward to having this disease under control. I am very blessed to find such a wonderful Doctor

I have had Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) for over 20 years. I eat an anti - inflammatory diet for as long as I can remember. Dr. Nasef tried to tell me I was misdiagnosed and did not have RA but instead had fibromyalgia. Here I find out Fibromyalgia is his specialty. I know the difference between nerve damage pain and RA issues and pain because I damaged the nerves in my right elbow. The doctor is an idiot. I am native American and European and have RA in my lower joints (hip, knees and feet) with minimal issues in my upper body. Native Americans tend to have more issues in their lower body than other ethnicity. I had to drive to a doctor outside Yuma to see a real RA doctor because I did not need fibromyalgia medication I needed RA medication. I would have given him a zero rating; however, I had to give him a 1 star to write this review.

This doctor was very rude to me. I was getting tested for lupus, when the results came back they were negative. I was certain I had it so I asked for another test, but he told me lupus is a death sentence and that I don't want to have it. When I asked questions he told me it was not his job to know about lupus. I got tested from another doctor and I do have lupus

He was the best dr. i've ever had-I was a patient of his for 10 yrs. Some trouble maker/makers caused a very fine man & dr. to stop practicing!!!

Dr. Nasef is now located in Peoria, Arizona. I have been to doctor after doctor these past 3 years, including the famed Mayo Clinic, and he was the only one able to solve my problem. He substituted Lyrica for the Oxycodone I was on and I have never felt so free of pain. As a result I will not need surgery. In addition, he prescribed the FDA approved Limbrel 500. He advised me that when my General Practictioner tried Lyrica last year it did not work because the GP did not tell me to stop the Oxycodne and that I was oversedated. In addition, the GP prescribed a mega dose of Lyrica on top of all the Oxycontin and Lyrica I was on. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Sherif Nasef.

I would highly recommed Dr. Nasef as I have had the best care and time spennt with me. He has helped me remarkably and sent me to others who could help when he was not able to as in having surgery.

He seems to be more interested in how good his thinning hair looks compared to the clients issues. Very POOR bedside manner, NEVER has touched this paitent to assess joint function, range of motion or inflammation, NEVER. My opinion is that your time will be wasted if you are looking for any real help. My advice, if you can possibly find ANY other Doctor, run-- do not walk-- to them! I am unbelieveably dissappointed in the complete lack of prodfessionalism, empathy and general patient care shown by Dr. Nasef. These are my first hand experiences over the last 7-8 visits.This assembly line practice appears to be a solid gold cash cow and he is Farmer John, a plenty happy farmer. One star is the lowest choice I have....
