Dr. Sherry Marie Bird, MD

Hands down the worst experience on the planet. My wife was exanguinating from a miscarriage while in the waiting room. Was not seen for several hours while she continued to lose blood. was not even put on IVF. by the time the OB doctor saw her her BP was in the 70s and she was booked for an emergency d and c. Dr. Bird then struts in for the first time joking like everything was done before she arrived and my wife was wheeled up. did not lay a hand on my wife or examined her. wrote a physical exam that she examined my wife. she is lazy and unprofessional with poor bedside manner. honestly she should be fired.

My husband came to the er Covid positive, and 6 years post stroke. He had a near fainting episode. Dr Bird ran many tests and scans to find the problem. She listened to me tell her how a cardiologist hadn’t addressed his afib which led to a massive stroke. Listened. She then told me that the team was going to think her neurotic because he’s on blood thinners but she wanted to run a final blood test to determine possible thickening. Sure enough the test led to a neck and chest scan which revealed a pulmonary embolism. Thank you for your diligence, Dr Bird.

I have filed a complaint with the California Medical Board regarding Sherry Bird and I encourage anyone else who has received improper or inadequate treatment from her to do the same. Absolutely deplorable "Dr."!

Emergency Dr. Bird was better than going to family general practitioner.

Really? This woman is the most inattentive doctor I have ever met. I had to ask her questions repeatedly. Georgetown produces some of the worst doctors I have ever met.

Dr. Bird saw me in the ER after I came in with extreme pain. She was extremely observant. She noticedI had lost weight in a short amount of time from how my clothes fit, asked me about it and put it all together to deduce that this was likely a gall bladder issue. An ultrasound confirmed this soon thereafter. She took the time to explain the issue to me, and went out of her way and also cued up an appointment with a surgeon (something she didn't need to do since this was in the ER). If I or someone I love ever have to go to the ER again, Dr. Bird is the person I'd want to be their attending.

Very thorough, you can immediately tell she was born to be a doctor.

I had to go to the CalPacific ER this spring. Dr. Bird was on duty, covering for my cardiologist. Got a bill from her emergency medicine group that was not covered by Cigna. I called them and they said they would get back to me. Instead they sent the bill to Collection Agency. I am very disappointed in this group as well as Cal Pacific Medical Center for using this emergency group at their hospital. I will make further complaints to hospital management.
