Dr. Shicong Ye, MD

Dr. Ye is an amazing person and an excellent Doctor! My migraines were the ruination of my life! He didn’t give up until he found the best solution for me! I had chronic migraines which were almost Daily and brutal!!! Now I get about 2-5 a month and they clear out so much faster! He’s a compassionate, caring , friendly Doctor who changed my life! I’m so thankful I found him!

Dr. Ye treats my autistic son in a very professional manner. He is kind and compassionate. His staff is excellent. Highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ye for over 8 years. At times he has had to sit me down and say it like it is but that is not only his style but his honesty. Weight , upsetment etc have a lot to do with my condition that he is treating me for and others that he is quite aware of. It’s at times a hard relationship for me because my feelings get hurt easily but he means well, has your best interest at heart and really does care. I would recommend Dr.Ye but with caution. He has to be pared with the right person that has a thick skin or wants the best care out there and can take some much needed advise. Over the years we have become like that old married couple. Comfortable without taking to each other knowing what the other is thinking. When I wrote to tell him I would be missing my 6mo follow up appt due to starting Chemo I could hear and feel the true upsetment he felt for me in his response to my email. He answered me directly. He didnt have someone else do it for him. I appreciate… that. I feel lucky that he has gotten me to a point that I do not have seizure too often any longer.

Arrogant beyond belief. Condescending, obnoxious and unhelpful

I have been going to Dr. Yee for over 3 years now. He never sent me for any unnecessary testing. He worked on getting the proper drug strength to relieve my migraine headaches so I can continue to live and function pain free. Highly professional Highly recommended by many Winthrop doctors which one referred him to me.

Misdiagnosed Parkinson's as Sleep Apnea so he could make a Referral Bonus by needlessly sending me to Winthrop's Sleep Center. It was verified that he sent all his Patients to the Sleep Center. It was verified that all Patients sent to the Sleep Center were deemed to need a Sleep Study. A Scam!

DR Ye is probably one of the most professional Doctors in the field and being associated with Winthrop Neurology is a huge plus they are leaders in that field here on Long Island.

Refuses to fill out paperwork for my employer confirming my diagnosis yet he diagnosed me with migraines put me on 2 different medications but won't write them a note telling them I have a chronic illness. Very short and abrupt about it and quite unpleasant. Unwilling to help. No empathy. Just there to prescribe his quota of topomax and call it a day. No customer service skills whatsoever. Looking for a new neurologist. Don't waste your time going to this guy.
