I went as refered by my PCP for an autoimmune disease which had already been diagnosed. She barely spoke to me during appointments, and said there was nothing she could do when I repeatedly reported extreme fatigue and pain.

Evrybtimebi have went my levels have been elevated and she ask me something but won't let me answer an acts like this is all normal an I'm swelling everywhere but it seems not to matter I cry every time I go in to see her she blames everything on my weight and that I smoke

I went to Dr. Gaitonde at the referral of my PCP after years of pain and misdiagnosis and finally a Neurologist did a test on me that indicated inflammation. I had my PCP do further tests which indicated that I might have Rheumatoid. I brought all my labs, x-rays and history to Dr. Gaitonde. She did do a thorough exam of my body but dismissed all my pain as osteoarthritis when the onset of pain was when I was a child for which she had no explanation. She did do further blood tests, but because 1 test out of 4 came back negative and I showed now visible signs of swelling at the moment she refused to believe it was Rheumatoid and treat me.

She was trying to diagnose my issues for ailments outside her realm of practice.. She would cut me off while I was talking. Even after two doctors already believe otherwise she said there was nothing wrong with me except I was over weight and smoked.
