Dr. Shirley Ann Shuppe, DO

This lady shouldn't work with people with how disrespectful she was. She doesn't say when she's going to do something she just lets it happen. She caused my brother to leave the ER even this in pain. When we asked nicely for a new Doctor because she was so aggressive she replied with and I quote "This isn't McDonalds you cant have it your way". Than is caused this to get worst. SO that upset my mother because we asked nicely. Than she start pointing her finger in my face. The sad thing is that the security officer said she disrespectful to a lot of black families and gave us her first and last name and said to report her. The doctors and nurses that were around didn't even jump in and save her because they said she does this a lot and needs to be reported. She than says what can she do he's the one complaining about a headache after she stated he has a concussion and didn't want to do the proper test. This woman is disrespectful and shows that time and time again. I love Hamot but I… will never ever take her as a doctor. she gave my brother some meds he was so scared to take them he told me he didn't take it because he thought she was giving him something to harm him. this lady is horrible.

Saw this dr in the er. Used fear tactics to admit me. Said if I didn't admit my self I would be dead when I came back. Problem wasn't too serious. 2 other Drs ended up diagnosing me and I was home within 2 days. I do not recommend her. No bedside manner, no politeness, no show of concern or caring.

I do not understand how she received all these great ratings. As a matter of fact I have never been treated so badly by ANY doctor of any kind. I was in horrible pain and she offered me nothing. I believe maybe she thought that I was just there for medication but in fact I suffered for 5 days from a herniated disk in my back. My doctor specifically sent me to the E.R. for treatment. Doctors take and oath to first do no harm, well she did me a lot of harm.
