Dr. Siddhartha Shyam Nadkarni, MD

Siddhartha Nadkarni was suspended from NYU and lost privileges on 5/12/19. He is also no longer employed there. Prior to his last suspension Nadkarni had a long and troubled history at the hospital including other disciplinary issues and intervention by the NY State Health Dept for violations of State and Federal law. He was also investigated by the Insurance Commissioner in NY for financial fraud and had money pulled back by the insurance company for fraud. He left the state and lied on his NJ license regarding his disciplinary history. He also lies about credentials and awards.

I would not recommend this practitioner and did not receive the kind of care that would be expected. Little time is spent with the patient and the ability to communicate with the office is challenging at best. Will not be returning.

His poor quality of care is only exceeded by his terrible communication.

Congratulations Siddhartha Nadkarni! Your demented brother, Samir Nadkarni whom you sent to threaten me while you were under investigation for unlawful medical practices got arrested again April 2025. It looks like he is going away to prison for a long time--where he belongs and where you belong too. You are both dangerous. What disgraceful family.

Knew this guy when he was at NYU. There are many reasons that he no longer works there. He posed a serious risk to patient care and misrepresented credentials.

You should ask him why he doesn’t provide truthful info on his NJ license profile regarding disciplinary issues, suspensions, and loss of privileges? Do you really believe he left NYU voluntarily after being suspended and losing privileges? No one is paid to write truthful reviews to warn and protect the public. He previously admitted his suspension on his NY license and now only puts his loss of privileges. He also lies about winning multiple awards. You can look them up yourself. … He was even forced to admit to a judge in court that he was suspended.
