Dr Sima A. Parmar, MD

I want to preface this by saying that I usually do not write reviews, let alone one as poor as this, however I feel it necessary to warn others of this doctor. Dr Parmar gave me a very serious diagnosis in a nonchalant way. She had no empathy or compassion for my desire for a natural childbirth. She told me to be quiet while doing the scan, and did not answer all of my questions- rushing me out of the office. Dr. Parmar gave me inaccurate information, and did not advise me of certain precautions to take with the diagnosis- such as pelvic rest and only light exercise. When I went to another doctor for a second opinion a little over a week later, my diagnosis was no longer placenta previa like Dr. Parma’s had asserted, and was a whole 6 cm away from the location given to me by Dr. Parmar. Either my placenta moved a whole 6 cm, or Dr. Parmar was hasty and inaccurate at best, dishonest at worst. The stress and trauma this misdiagnosis caused me was significant. I would not trust this… doctor with your care and I will no longer be returning to Parinatal associates for my follow up, and will find another office that will treat me with empathy and respect.
