Rude, does not listen. Gave me a treatment plan before reading my papers on current mood etc were done being filled out. His plan was to drop my med and not replace it. He ignored that I had already tried and use the techniques he wanted to replace my med with. Why would I need to pay him to stop taking a med I have already started slowing with my pcp?. His job was supposed to be adjusting level and proper dosage for meds I have been on over 10 years. His words “we don’t use drugs for anxiety”, which is a ridiculous statement with all the anxiety drugs on the market.

Dr Yechoor is an excellent doctor as he treats the whole person, is knowledgeable about many things, great with medications and their pros and cons. Addresses issues, even uncomfortable ones with honesty. None better

Wife met Yechoor in hospital. Yechoor told her that he could continue treatment and to call the office he works at and schedule an appointment. Tried and was told he was not accepting new patients. Thanks pal. Got to love doctors that claim they can treat someone but dont have any openings. Such a big help.

Calming personality; Does a good job explaining why he recommends any treatment or medication and explaining how they work and when to expect results. Is willing to listen to your concerns, but will stand his ground and explain why most of the time. Other times he will agree with your concern and adjust his recommendation. All around one of the better psychiatrists in the Toledo area.
