Dr. Sivasenthil Arumugam received his medical degree from the Madras Medical College, in Chennai, India where he served as a resident in anesthesiology. He spent two years working in the department of anaesthesia at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, U.K. He then completed his externship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Arumugam finished his internship in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut and his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Massachusetts, Worcester, Mass. Board eligible in anesthesiology, Dr. Arumugam is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the Indian Society of Anaesthetists.
