Summary
I moved to the West Coast in 2005, after spending most of my life in the northeast. I often go back to the metropolitan New York area to visit family and close friends. My family is originally from India and my life has been influenced greatly by the combination of Eastern and Western cultures. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, I was on the faculties of the UC San Diego Medical Center and the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York. After spending several years engaging in research and training future physicians and subspecialists, I realized that the most satisfying moments in my work life have been spent in the direct care of my patients. So I decided to take a position that would allow me to do exactly that.
