Dr. Soham Pravinkumar Patel, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Patel for about two years now. He is the first doctor that listens to my concerns. I have Hashimoto’s and for the first time in ten years my antibody numbers are way down. He treats the root cause which is what we eat. By cutting out gluten and focusing more on plant based foods I was able to finally feel better. It truly works what he preaches. I have since referred my mom to him and she says he is one of the first doctors where she doesn’t feel rushed.

I had several visits with Dr. Patel, each one he did not listen to my concerns and would push his own vegan programs instead of finding the cause for my issues. On top of that, the google page for one of my prior history Illnesses was open in the room when I walked in. VERY unprofessional. The poor girl in the front is the only help and is overworked. Would not recommend.

Dr Patel is an excellent physician. He treats you as a person and not just another patient. He actually listens and makes recommendations based on your situation. I had a stressful position, which in turn caused me to be tired all the time. His recommendation was not with medicine but food. I did what he recommended and it gave me more energy. I was a little leery when I first met him because he was recommending food over medicine in curtain situations. Before going to Dr Patel I'd went to the same for 20 years but he retired late in life. I would differently recommend anyone that needs to see an endocrinologist and nutritionist to see Dr Patel. If you are open to trying what he recommends you will not be disappointed.

I saw Dr. Patal and Dr. Halawani and was quite dissatisfied with both doctors. I have hypothyroidism, which can be managed by medication. However, was popping up with other issues... which were ignored by this practice. When attempting to discuss these issues, I was looked down upon by Dr. Halawani, and only encouraged a vegan diet by Dr. Patel. No one seemed to offer further tests to get to the basis of my issues... switched to another endocrinologist who actually listen to my concerns. It’s nice to be listened to. This staff is not horrid... but obviously over worked and stressed. I stayed with this doctors group for about two years, switched between doctors because I thought it was just a poor bedside manner in combo with my personality that resulted in such a negative overall vibe for the location. They might handle diabetes just fine... but don’t go to this practice for other endocrine issues (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, low testosterone, cushing’s disease, etc)

Dr. Patel is one of the best doctors I have been to. He is seriously everything you could want in a physician - thorough, kind, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. I have been going to Dr. Patel for over a year now and he has never once rushed me out of his office or treated me like "just another number." He encourages his patients to be their best selves and provides them with the knowledge and resources to do so. I am so grateful to have a doctor who listens patiently to all of my questions/concerns, and then provides thorough answers in a way that I can understand. He is very personable and passionate about his work.

Dr. Soham Patel is very knowledgeable, very patient, listens attentively, very professional, soft spoken, well mannered and suggests the best advise for the problems.
