Great OBGYN. Patient, kind and very compassionate.

So first I went to the wrong office. They kindly rescheduled me. Then I completely forgot about the rescheduled appointment and showed up 20 or so min. late. They could not have been kinder! Dr. Thompson was thorough and professional and took the time to explain screening regimens to me. She is my ob/gyn!

Dr Thompson while not my OB/GYN was on call both nights I went into the ACMC ER with labor pains and a brown-ish discharge. No testing was ever performed on the discharge which turned out to be amniotic fluid with mecronium. Had those tests been performed my son would be alive today instead of stillborn at 38weeks.

I absolutely love Dr. Thompson. I am said that she is leaving CCF in Ashtabula. She delivered my daughter in 2013. She helped me every step of the way through my very first pregnancy. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor. She definitely goes above and beyong to make you feel comfortable and cared for. Angie

I have seen Dr Thompson twice. The first time was a routine check up and she helped me figure out how to help my friend who had breast cancer without worrying about myself! The second time I needed some tests, I was dragging my feet about them and she was firm about what I needed. She is good with people. I am past childbearing age but I would recommend her to younger friends!! I have 7 children so I recognize a good OB when I meet one. She has the problem common to people who are good at what they do. She is too busy. I think if you want a good doctor, you have to take some of what goes with that. It is worth it.

She is very nice but appeared to be in a hurry which made me very uncomfortable , she was rushing around and didn't give me any time to ask questions. She seems like a good doctor but didn't make me feel comfortable because of the way she was rushing in and out and talking fast.

Absolutely love Dr. Thompson! She delivered my daughter in 2013 and was so sweet during my whole fist pregnancy. Highly recommend!

She is new to the Ashtabula area and I think she takes on way to many patients or schedules to many in a day because I had a bad experience. I scheduled a problem visit and when I tried talking to her about my problem she told me that I would have to make another appointment so she can discuss everything with me. She said you have to make an appointment for a problem visit but that's why I was there in the beginning then proceeded to tell me that she needs to respect patients time but mine wasn't respected. I came back today for my second visit hoping to ask the questions I needed to and they scheduled me for an annual exam which I didn't need. Everything was messed up. After waiting over an hour on the room, I went looking for a nurse and was told the doctor wasn't even at the office yet. Why not inform patients before they wait or drive from another city. I left and found another doctor. My problem was taken care of the first visit.

Dr. Thompson expertise, dedication and compassionate care makes her an extraordinary doctor.

I am 36 weeks pregnant and she took me on as a new patient. I had to witch because my previous one just wasn't the right fit. She was very understanding and took time to explain the things she was testing me and my baby for. So glad I found her!
