Dr. Chakraborty is fantastic. Even though I am 71 she treated me like my needs are still important.

Care provider was thorough, pleasant, very informative, and showed interest and sensitivity in advising me. I am very satisfied that I received excellent care.

She was amazing and helpful.

I am a doula who has supported numerous births in the Northern Virginia area. I supported a client at INOVA Fairfax Hospital who had Dr. Chakrabotry as her on-call doctor. This doctor proceeded to use every unethical tactic to persuade my client to have a CS, although my client’s original OB agreed she can have a trial of labor if all looked good with the baby. Chakrabotry used coercive, abusive, degrading language to elicit fear and uncertainty. My client was in the throes of active labor and was begging her to listen and participate in fair dialogue of her options. Chakrabotry stormed out of the room when my client wouldn’t consent. When it came time to deliver, Chakraborty had a sour attitude and made numerous condescending remarks. After the delivery of the placenta, the barbaric way she handled my client was worse than how farmers handle animals. She yelled at my client and she even remarked: ‘I told you not to do this anyway. It was clear Chakraborty was physically punishing my… client for not agreeing to a Cesarean. This woman is an unethical, disgusting, rude, brutal doctor. How she has made it this far in the medical field without reprimand reminds me that the medical system sweeps complaints under rug... or women are not speaking up enough. She should never place her hands on the body of any woman. She is not compassionate, fair, reasonable, and she lacks bedside manners. It is clear the nurses do not want to tread on her toes and it’s pitiful. DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR. You will regret it, especially if you are seeking a positive and healthy birth experience. Obstetric violence is real, Chakrabotry is proof."

I would not recommend this doctor anyone

She provide a very bad service. I would not recommend this doctor to expecting moms.
