Dr. Soma Chung Jyonouchi, MD

Dr Soma was amazing when we saw him at CHOP. We waited about 5 minutes in the waiting room and maybe less than 5 minutes to see Dr Soma once put in a room. He was so gentle with my child, my son loved him and his staff. The nurses were so sweet to us. Everyone made sure to wear masks and gloves and sanitize. I thought we would be there AT LEAST 3 hours for our visit. We were out within a hour and that even included his 20 minute allergy test and getting out of the insane parking lot! We loved Dr Soma's team, they were all very caring people.

If I can give a negative star I would.We are a few minutes late for our appointment and he refused to see my daughter who has an allergy that is unknown yet lands her in the ER. no compassion no consideration not empathy for children what so ever! good luck to all who have appointments with him.

He is an expert in his field, admirable level of confidence in the diagnosis and management of allergy and immunology disorders; very thorough; presents options in an evidence-based approach which conveys much reassurance to patients/parents. Excellent skills in establishing doctor-patient (both child/parent) relationship. I would recommend him highly!
