Terrible communicator. Lacks transparency. Runs late and does not respect patients’ time nor needs. Highly untrustworthy and unprofessional. Disorganized and insensitive.

Dr. Gaur has truly helped my daughter who has anxiety and ADHD. She combines traditional Western and Eastern holistic practices to help my daughter improve and manage her symptoms. I have learned a lot about how to help and what not to do for my daughter and for myself too! Dr. Gaur is realistic in her approach and understanding with the patient and family. I highly recommend her! I know she can help with adolescents and adults with ADHD and anxiety. I am recommending her to a friend whose son is a young adult who seems to be addicted to video gaming, a growing problem that needs attention.

You have no idea how long it took me to finally find the right doctor, Dr. Sonia Gaur. I'm 54 years old, have ADHD and it seems like it took forever to find a doctor with the right blend of knowledge, caring and experience for me. She is great! She starts her appiontments on time, and took extra time to work on my core issues during our appointments. I couldn't recommend her any higher. You must go see her.

Iâ??ve been having issues with my family, friends and keeping a job. For years I was told I suffered from depression. For twenty year I took several different medications for depression, but did not feel any better. My life was falling apart. My primary doctors suggest I see a psychiatrist. I had great hopes, and was looking forward in seeing if I could get help with managing my life. I did a lot of research on Dr. SONIA GAUR MD, and spoke to her on the phone, and felt good that she was a competent professional. The first sessions I was very happy with our interaction. After a lengthy conversation; she told me I didnâ??t suffer from depression. She diagnosis me with Bipolar II disease. I was excited she gave my issues a name. I should have been suspicious I was diagnosed so quickly, because this experiences turned out to be the worst psychiatry experience of my life. She was an attentive she would make appointment with me and give me a reminder card when I would arrive… she would already have a patient and turn me away. Then she had the nerve to bill me because she said I didn't show up for my scheduled appointment. She put me on anti-psychotic medication. She was emphatic how important it was to take every day; otherwise I would be susceptible to a psychotic break. I called my pharmacy for a refill. They informed me Dr. Gaur needed to Fax a new prescription. The pharmacy called her several times with no response. They were very concerned I did not have any medication. I too started to call. I called twelve times with no response. I called to contact the emergency on-call psychiatrist. Still was not response. It was ten (10) days before my pharmacy received the new prescription request. When the pharmacy received it, she excluded the milligram amount. Again, both the pharmacy and I called repeatedly requesting a new prescription including the milligram amount. That took another three (3) days for her to Fax the new prescription. The pharmacist was so appalled; she suggested I file a formal complaint. I was so hopeful in working with Dr. Gaur, but because of my horrifying experience; Iâ??m hesitant to find a new psychiatrist.

Has a very clear idea of the problem on hand. Elicits confidence. I have my entire family see her if I could.
