Appalling, unprofessional, negligent, uninformed, almost scary.

this doctor only is a doctor to make money and she is rude and at all unprofessional when her patients refuse to come to dr. visits every 3 weeks, is this dr. serious every 3 weeks? and now this dr. stopped doing medicaid cause medicaid insurance is not making this dr. enough money cause those on medicaid refuse frequent dr. visits for more money and so this dr. donthu is doing other insurance now but it is not more money cause others insurance patients will only come when its necessary in coming to dr. visits..this doctor is trully a big fraud in doing dr. taking care of her patients is what doctors is for..dont no make this dr. donthu your regular doctor, she want take care of u..u will only be all about the MONEY..THIS DOCTOR SUCK IN BEING A DOCTOR..

Dr. Donthu is the Best. I am in my 60s and have seen many physicians. I have never seen someone who takes time and advocates for you. I couldn't secure appointment with other specialists and she personally calls and arranges. This happened twice with me. Also, she is a no nonsense doctor and very clear in her expectations about compliance. She is very professional in her attire and always a pleasure to meet her.

Let me preface this with i am a young, educated black woman. I had been a patient of this doctor for about a year and she was the first doctor I’d seen out here in Texas, do I decided to give her a shot. Big mistake. From my first appointment the waits are always consistently long to be seen. She is a doctor and always wears open toe sandals. I’ve never seen that before. My first meeting I requested a full blood work in which she ordered only a fraction of what I requested. I had to go back and request more standard tests to be done. All my other visits included her feeling as though she knew more about my body than me, the patient. The last time was the final straw. I had a condition in which I had it before and explained to her this. Instead of taking heed, she ordered tests that took FIVE DAYS to produce results. By this time I had to threaten to take legal action against her because of the treatment during this visit. She acted as if she didn’t know what was going on. Finally the… manager of the office convinced her to treat me and i was able to pick up my prescription. Five days later?! The results came back exactly as expected and I am fuming. I called to get a prescription refilled only to find out I had been dropped as a patient WITH NO WRITTEN NOTICE. She is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. Does not listen to her patients. Makes them wait and does not have empathy. Even the lab techs who’ve been there have told me they were iffy about her and the next time I’d never see the tech again. Save yourself.
